When you get to Stacatto level and above many parts are at least close to fitting because so many companies originally used the STI/Stacatto frames as a base then modified from there. Regardless a lot of 2011 parts will require some hand fitting unlike polymer striker fired guns where parts are just drop in. That’s why Stacatto and above brands cost what they do because the parts are tool steel billet and hand fitted from small parts to slides, barrels and frames. The parts material and hand fitting is what drives up the cost. Something like Atlas or Infinity has way more hand fitting than Stacatto resulting in 6-8k prices. Stacatto is entry level in properly built 2011 platforms.

I can’t say I’ve seen anything from infinity but hopefully Springfield makes some Grips to sale separately in case The Poly needs changed or for whatever reason I could only Find STI grips and they’re gen 2 which I believe is compatible with the Prodigy seems sold out everywhere not to mention people have said the Grip texture on STI grips isn’t the best but anyways you and I know once a model gets more main stream allot more options will arise so the 2011 future looks great !
Yea I can I’ll do that now. It’s a fully adjustable trigger unlike any I’ve seen for a 1911 platform it not only has overtravel & PreTravel adjustments but you can adjust the shoe Position itself. The shoe is removable and you can buy additional Shoes like for $35 in different styles Flat, curved, & convex and like I said Short, Med, or Long and like 4 or 5 different colors.
No, just the Mold Lines or whatever they’re called. But you do bring up something I wish was readily available and inexpensive. New grip modules, maybe different grip texture options, colors, and materials. Cheely grips are nice but pretty dang expensive

Is that a crack on the bottom in the front of grip going up towards the trigger?
