the sun song was taken from the morning theme actually. They wanted to associate the sun song with the morning theme, so they inserted the beginning of the morning theme into it.
I actually only just realized the Hyrule Field Main Theme and Morning Theme's "Sun's Song" notes are different. The repeated notes in the Hyrule Field Morning Theme are A-F-D (as with the actual ocarina song in the game), but in the Main Theme they're B-A-D.

Good analysis, and nice that you annotated corrections. Your technical knowledge of music is far superior to mine, but nice to see that we similarly "get" the intent. Music's weird in that fundamentally it's pure mathematics, but is designed to elicit pure emotion.

Twilight Princess is my favorite overworld theme. I agree with you, it is also my favorite soundtrack in the series.
Well done sir! You have gained a new subscriber! I've done piano for 9 years and have been introduced to new things!
Good analysis, and nice that you annotated corrections. Your technical knowledge of music is far superior to mine, but nice to see that we similarly "get" the intent. Music's weird in that fundamentally it's pure mathematics, but is designed to elicit pure emotion.
I just found your channel and WHERE WERE YOU ALL THE TIME??? Awesome!
This the nerdiest channel ever! I love it, I feel so at home hear :)
just discovered this channel, amazing work dude!!!
Great video, and crazy it was your first! Love your work
I definitely still loved the Skyward Sword music to bits. Perhaps its nature as an "origin story" could help explain its thematic dissociation from the themes developed in games that come "after" it? If you ever get the chance I'd love to hear your thoughts / see your analysis of Ghirahim's theme!
Wind Waker is my favorite game too!! ^.^ You’re completely right, the music feels like the vast sea...awesome video.
"Noone really knows this theme that well cause noone really plays this game anymore"
Yeah, ok. Well, it's been my favourite Zelda game ever since it was released. I keep going back and play it through every second year or so. Zelda II: The adventure of Link, that is. Anyway, great video! Would love an analysis of the Great Palace Theme from Zelda 2.
