Hi Tyla and Douglas, Thank you for your enlightened talks. I’ve wondered about relics and their power. I want to learn more about crystals from Steiner’s view also.
What about non Christian holy objects"? I am today receiving a big brass wrathful VAJRA (open prongs); likely a classic design from a recent artisan. It is for my 'Lararium', my house altar. The same question about statuettes of non canonical saints like santa Muerte or even Jesus Malverde? A cheap colortful statuette of Ganesha. Or a Veve from Haiti, which I made myself, very inspired. My Latina fiancee would not tolerate any of this in her house! She is a bit old fashion clairvoyant, bur I would not dare to call it atavistic! It is probably a mix. I an not that good at all, but we do see eye to eye! The Mexican saints have a great coolness, probably due to Netflix series, my great teacher of Spanish! But I met my Hatian patron Loa after my brief trip over there; which is like another planet!. The Bocor told me I would find out in time, and I did.. With these kind of experiences and recognition, I find the strength does fade over time. Also, I have been visiting some medieval churches and Cathedrals (Brugge) with my lovely Gringa millenial atheist daughters: my duty providing education as a retired Dutch dad! I see many relics and monuments of saints who I never ever heard of. Some of them seem to just have been important and powerful in their time. Not easy to relate to. Does it have any value?
