I watched one of these land then take off much shorter than this in Queensland Australia years ago. The Australian Army flew them for a number of years.
It depends what your mission is, this is a very good STOL aircraft, but the trade off it’s fairly slow and has limited range. It’s also can’t fly in know icing conditions, limiting its flying in northern climates.
