It is done with a dry brush..that has part of the bristles taken out 20% maybe, and one that has been in clear water(but! used dry)..Nothing to it, just keep doing it, you will get there...Note: This painting was developed by some Chinese in the '70s to do Mass production of paintings, that were sold at flea - markets, for a low price. A true Artist can tell this technique straight away...Not to say it's ugly...but it's not what one would call a work of art.
When Someone else draws a couple lines: Ah yes! I can already picture the final imagine, this is coming together beautifully. When I draw a couple lines: ......... that ones crooked , I think I put too many, what am I even trying to make again.
