The knock knock MV seems to actually be the prequel to the TT mv which is low-key genius lol. as for the song, it's their first time changing the producer since their Debut and I can see why this was chosen as a comeback song for a repackaged album, it's not as strong as TT but still veery catchy, TWICEy and a good enough follow up to it.
I can see them coming back with a sexy concept tho 😂 besides all of them wanting to do that (especially the Japanese line and Nayeon) They performed Beyonce's Yoncé at their concert, which was quite sexy and choreographed by Momo.

I think you might be right on your theory! I read somewhere that Twice wanted to present a more mature sound later on. It's almost like their "time" for being cute has run out. And since they decided to call the album Twicecoaster it could mean that Twice will soon be going in different directions.

I love Twice more than any other group out there but I had a hard time liking Knock Knock so I gotta agree that I like all of their previous songs better. KK is more the type of song that you have to listen to a few times and then it grows on you. Honestly, I will say that they should continue working with Black Eyed Pilsung. They produce masterpieces together so I hope their next comback they would use them as the composers. Also, you should definetely listen to another new song on their album Melting. imo it is one of their best songs so far. Anyway, ur reactions are great as usual :) Hope Danny's theory about sexy comeback is true though😂✌
My theory:
AT the beginning you hear the ending of the song TT in which all the members are GHOSTS who take on the form of a character from a fairytale or a story e.g devil, superhero and the rabbit/hare. The person they were waiting for (Knock Knock) knows their feelings but doesnt reciprocate or acknowledge it (Nomuhae Nomuhae), In original fairytale stories the characters played ; Ice Queen (Lover burnt her castle area where her baby was), Maleficent (Her wings were cut off), Tinkerbell (Replaced by wendy), Pirate(Betrayed by lover who was a sailor so becomes a pirate), Hit girl (Her dads' killer) and Ariel (Eric let her turn to foam) were somehow betrayed by men somehow causing heartbreak?? (I'm not sure how the bunny, devil and Pinocchio fit in but imagine they do...) so when its halloween (TT) THEY CAN LIVE A normal life which ends at 12 midnight but they have to be in the house cos that's where they are attached to.

I liked this song, but TT was a lot more impressive. The first time I listened I was repeating the chorus. But Knock Knock is very sticky too, the "knock knock knock on my door" part stays in your head forever.
