the emotion in these songs.. its just incredible.. I don't speak japanese and can't tell a word she's saying.. but the emotion being communicated is stronger than any language barrier.
can't fathom how yuppe's arrangement still manages to sound as great as ever after all these years..! Merami's vocal and Yuyoyuppe's instrumentals literally timeless As much as i enjoy each of their own new releases, it would be great if they comeback as DrawTheEmotional one day and release something new together..
I love this song so much... when I was depressed, almost every day I would listen to this. I had it on my old phone, and I still do. I just thought of it and found it again... it touches me...
I have the same problem as you. I have the depress since I was young, and when I listen this awesome song first time, I felt really well. I am happy to meet another person who has the same problem :)
Unaius Ghost Well, let's say I went through actual insanity to the point where I didn't know what was real anymore, had months and years of manic depression with countless suicide attempts all inclusive... ... and all I can say is *_it ends._* If you actually try, and if you really want it to end - then, and that's the one most important thing I've learned, it *_will_* end.
Ani Ga try to be positive in your life, and do thing that would be good for you , the life ends naturally whe we are too old, so try to live the life as good as you can please, because you have frienes that can you help;)
LOL. How didn't I ever notice that?! I played that piece just a few years ago and remember it clearly, but I never realized that Septettte was based on that. Hah. Awesome.
Dangerous is both an apt way to put it, and at the same time a massive understatement. But like you, I agree that this song is amazing. One of the best I've heard.

there are 2 sides of the touhou community 1 side that portrays all the characters as innocent cinnamon rolls or as tricky children the other side portrays the characters as edgy people who only know "kill or be killed"
What is this haunting melody? I'm being lured deeper into the realm of demons... melancholic, desolate, yet still eerily beautiful. The art is also really lovely. I want those wings of hers. ❤️
Flandre is the way that she is BECAUSE of being locked away by her sister. If she was taught how to behave instead of being cooped up like a chicken then she would be a perfectly sane girl with just as much self-control as Remilia.
It's like I'm reading a completely different language... The only thing I understand about Touhou is there's some characters, and awesome music spawns from it.
I'm not a big fan of Remilia or her theme, but... This really gets my attention. It's beautiful, even with the guitar in it, that would usually erase it's elegance. Somehow, it flows perfectly and sounds wonderful. An incredibly impressive song, I must say.
The choice of words at 1:07 interests me. Septette for the Dead Princess' "beat" came from a piece called "rondo" by Beethoven. I find it extremely ironic, then, that the translator (or the arranger of the piece originally) decided to use the word rondo there, as if he/she knew about the origin of the song. Also, if you don't believe me that ZUN's beat came from Beethoven, have a good look for yourself: /watch?v=Ifj8dwuAzAQ
Pretty sure you don't really care any more but the translation is as direct as it gets because she's literally saying "rondo" as the English word. Just it's hard to tell because of all of the Japanese in between. You could compare it to weeb memers saying things like nani the heck but not nearly as cringey since loan words aren't uncommon in Japanese. It's more comparable to the more normalized loan words we have in English. Much like how we just refer to things like tsunamis as tsunamis even though the word is Japanese.
I'm fairly new to the touhou series and so far septette for the dead princess is my favorite song, but I got to know who is the person singing in this song they have an amazing voice.
