The Parks Mall at Arlington closing announcement/super loud beeping sound heard everywhere inside!

- 11/21/2021 This mall plays an announcement when the mall is closed which is pretty loud and they play beeping sound which is loud all over the mall since the mall closed at 8:00PM today since it’s an Tuesday and as you may see, people were leaving the mall and someone asked which a kid did if they were gonna be locked in, but you know they have to check to make sure everyone leaves the mall before locking the doors from inside from opening to the outside for safety and this is an Brookfield mall who owns the mall and this mall has been here for 20 years already which is insane and Popeyes is new to this mall by the way, just opened in September 2021 :) UPDATE: Sonic Restaurant located in the food court is now closed unfortunately which is alright and is more vacant space for another food chain to take over and Parks Mall at Arlington Hours has changed quite a bit since I have updated the description weekly for now on when I see updates and if major holidays are happening too. Finally, this is an important announcement! There was an incident at Parks Mall at Arlington that happened around last week which a fight broke out and police came into the mall, luckily I wasn't at the mall at the time and they are lighting up more security/APD police presence and there's an new curfew being put into place for days like Friday/Saturday/Sunday aka. the weekends and any people under age of 18 has to be accompanied with an adult/parent at all times which their age has to be 21 years or older on Friday/Saturday/Sundays after 2:00PM and if your under age of 18 on Friday/Saturday, you MUST LEAVE THE MALL BEFORE 2:00PM STARTS or you will face consequences and they will ASK FOR PROOF OF AGE for the children/adult and they need to be identified by usually showing a driver license/id/military id/school id card/passport and it has to show image/date of birth clearly posted and one adult can have up to 4 young people and Adult/Parent has to supervise their children at all times and I know this can cause some inconvenience for some people and it's a bit sad. Parks Mall at Arlington is doing very well though and it is not an dead mall by the way like what Ridgmar/Southwest Center Mall and I hope you have an great rest of your day too and enjoy this video I created/recorded the whole entire length of the mall closing announcements several times by the way as you can hear it on the mall speaker and sorry if the video is a bit shaky since I don't have a tripod with me currently too so I apologize for the bit of shakiness you notice and have an great day to you all too seeing the video and I will be back at Parks Mall at Arlington sometime next month in May and I try to shoot some video to show you guys new updates and changes that has happened since something horrible happened and stay safe to all of you too and security/police presence is increasing since they are checking id's/driver license at each entrance you enter inside the mall unlike before since you were able to walk inside the mall and nobody would check your driver license/id/school id and I will try to be very safe as possible too :))

I gotta admit, when every abandoned or operational mall has less or no people and when distorted music plays in the background makes them 100% guaranteed terrifying.... and the beeping sound makes it even worse in my opinion
I can see your point about the distorted music playing on the background and it can be scary for some people and it kind of makes sense to me and this mall is striving/not a dead mall in any way :)
I like how the people still enjoying their food in the food court ignoring the sound taking their sweet time
Yep, that's true and in some malls, they would have ask you to leave asap from what I seen and there's more security/police presence at this mall since something horrible happened few weeks ago!

@@andrewthevideomakerguyest.8920 Fight broke out at Parks Mall at Arlington back in March-April which people ran away from and they had to put restrictions on teenager's who want to be by themselves. Like on Friday-Saturday after 2PM, adults under 18 years old has to be with an parent at all times and could be asked to show ID if you look younger and I know that it can be annoying in some way and they have more security present which will make it harder for me to film Parks Mall at Arlington, but I will this month when I have the chance to do so since I got the iPhone 13 Pro now.

You gotta admit even after they’re closed and before the tear down, they keep the concourses pretty shiny and clean… mostly.
Yep, it's pretty clean when there's not too many people walking inside Parks Mall at Arlington and this was recorded on a weekday and the janitors do a decent job of cleaning the floor if they do their job wait and thanks for noticing that from the video and hope you had a great day to you too :))

It's hilarious, but people were still inside the mall eating after 15 minutes of the mall being closed and I saw security came once we left the mall and Macy's already closed their mall entrance.
Imagine this mall is dead and you are just here alone and this goes off

Yep, Sears is back now since it became Sears Hometown and it's open now I believe which is great news and Sears is making Hometown stores, but not like this inside the mall, some sears got repurposed to other stores, but this sears is becoming Sears Hometown and I wonder if the store was remodeled or it still looks same as I remember it last year or they still have same cash registers at the front and they put new logo outside of the store by the way, but it's pretty small now and lowercase unlike the old Sears logo which was will uppercase letters from 1990's
How though I wish schools learn to adapt this tone instead of a bell and maybe a fun announcement like “May I have your Attention please the school day is over have a great day everyone”

Actually, Parks Mall at Arlington will be open on Thursday for early Black Fridy shopping in the afternoon usually in the evening :)
I love it. I wish Northbrook Court did that. Instead they lock the doors and if they find you they tell you to leave. ( I got out because CPK was still open)
Who owns the mall, I think Brookfield Properties did this to most of their malls and they wait for everyone to leave for 30minutes-45minutes and they close most of the doors except Ice Skating Rink door because Round1 stays open until 2AM every day and that door is only open when mall is closed and they let security know about this too by the way and I wish you mall did this idea too.
@@Noahvis4 We have AMC, they stay open later as well as California Pizza Kitchen and Di Pescara, and yes Brookfield owns the mall, I have been at the mall a lot minutes before closing and a few months ago was in it at closure. I never heard this though.

@@abandonedmass2333 It varies/up to the mall management to do it or not since I seen some Brookfield Owned Malls like Northbrook Court Mall in IL don't do the closing announcement like what Parks Mall At Arlington and they just tell people to leave the mall since it's now closed and they turn off the lights inside the mall from what I see and thanks for asking and I went to Galleria Dallas, TX last Friday which is nice mall to shop at and it's a really big mall to explore and it's not owned by Brookfield Properties so it would be a lot different on how they close the mall down at 8:00PM at least for Galleria Dallas and there's a Westin Hotel connected to the mall and they have many anchor stores to shop at and Parks Mall at Arlington got expanded later on in the 2000's era to add the skating rink/AMC Movie Theater/Great Indoors (NOW DICKS SPORTING GOODS) and Round1 Amusement Park in 2016 :) which is a fun place to have much fun :)

Especially visit the malls parks in Arlington Texas it is wonderful though they added rules you must be 18+ to be alone if not you need an adult and if your underage and alone you will be escorted by security to the exit

I recorded this on the iPhone Xs, but I have gotten the iPhone 14 Pro recently with a external microphone so it will block out wind noise
Did they play that over the Malls fire alarm system or they have a separate system that plays the recording?
They usually have a separate system like the speakers that plays the closing announcement and it's way different than the fire alarm system.

Probably and I agree with your comment and they always play this beeping sound whenever the mall closes at 9PM or 6PM on Sundays and I hear it all over the mall since they added in more speakers now.

Nope, it doesn't sadly! This mall closes at 8PM during Monday-Thursday. Meanwhile, Friday-Saturday, the mall closes at 9PM and closes earlier at 6PM in the evening during Sunday!

Mall closes at 8:00PM from Monday-Thursday and mall closes at 9:00 on Friday-Saturday and I believe on Sunday they close early as 6:00PM in the evening and they are enforcing an new curfew so you need to be accompanied by an adult/parent after 2:00PM on Fridays/Saturdays since something bad like a fight broke out/happened in the mall last week unfortunately and they have security guards at every mall entrance now which may ask how old are you by showing them your driver license/id/school id/military id :))

Definitely not, this mall is not too big and plus, the mall is big enough for most stores. I started seeing more empty storefronts recently too.

Well, security/police will tell you to leave the mall if they see you're still inside the mall after it closes at 9PM unless your going to AMC Movie Theater or ROUND1 to watch an movie, that's the only exception!
