fist of all i apologize to all the lgbtq members who watched this interview and to all other people , its is really sad to watch this interview because of lack of assesment and because of ignorant questions put forwarded by bbs . there are somany corners that needed to be rectified thus i will try to clear things up a bit , as a supporter of lgbtq members (after my daughter came out as lasbien ) i would like to say that being lasbien is not a choice and also it is not even a down fault or a disease which was said wrongly by interviwee and yes it is something you are born with and also it doesnt deal with the environmental influences as stated wrongly by interviwee .one cannot pray away gay and there is no cure for being lasbien because there is nothibg wrong and there is nothing to cure . i fully support what chimi said and i can feel her pain but again chimi could have said that inorder to get respect from society and acceptance she should have said that respect is something that comes with it, you respect others and know your stand in the society and if you stay within your bound and again if your self attitude towards society is something unrespectable such as crossing your line and humilating people who are not same as you or disrespecting them by awkward flirting and above all in country like bhutan gang fight and drug issue plays very important role so untill and unless your view towards society is clean and respectful then gradually there will be acceptance and respect. chimi said there is no sex between girl to girl in a lasbien relatinship well according to human sexual categorical law ,if you do not have any intimate desire towards your parthner then that would come under asexual and chimi might come under that category but i cannot and dont have right to say that, cauz right now i just wanted to say that yes there is healthy sexual activity between lasbien couples and it is clarification to all the viewers that there is no such thing as setting your mind to like boys when clearly you are not into oppisite sex and if you do then that will come under bisexual category . so lastly chimi is brave and i hope her battle ends soon and she finds her way to win the battle.....good luck to all and forgive me if by any chance i said something sensitive to community , i am only trying to create a better place for our sons and daughters for tomorrow so that they can live under one love despite ones race , gender and sexual orientation , at the end love is love and support and love all. thank you .
Mr. Sonam Ugyen (interviewer) he need to research more about the topic before interviewing someone specially like these kinds. His questions Sounds very uneducated and unskilled. Sorry for negative comment, nothing is personal. Thanks...
As a fellow bhutanese, it was embarrassing to see this interview. BBS should question their resourcefulness as a news agency, the fact that this interviewer was so ignorant and didn't take time to research on the topic matter which is supported by science. He already comes off bias and critical. Good thing the person who was interviewed had the patience to tolerate someone like him.
It is much high time to support LGBT group.... and give chance for them to share like Chimmi.. i really appreciate it..
