so i have a wild ideal to throw at you for the hutch vs placing doors back on it why not leave the shelves the bright white paint the outside facing trim black and change out the hard wear for something brass this will give it contrast while also separating your kitchen from that area and redecorate it like you had it with all the wood and black tones and greenery .. just an ideal to think about maybe its something you hadn't considered an option
and if you did paint it how i said & wanted to redo the doors and add them back to it you could paint them black as well remove that old glass that's in them & replace it with chicken wire to incorporate your farmhouse look feel to it . i love interior design . and i'm big on farmhouse decor .... @@HomeSweepHome
