Than you start again: Up, side, down, side, up Or in clock: 6, 3, 12, 3 6, 3, 12, 3 6, 3, 12, 3 And so on until the needle can't pass through anymore. From what I saw you're undoing a entry point, which can lead to holes in your locs.
You are correct ! I was so confused she keeps basically undoing what she did. But she'll see her mistakes in the coming months with the holes. I've been locked for over a year doing my own reties plus clients and I know this method makes no sense.
Your locs look gorgeous btw. I just wanted to mention really quick that the way you’re doing the rotations are slightly incorrect. You’re supposed to go Up⬆️ Side➡️ Down⬇️ Side➡️ And then repeat. The way you’re doing it here will possibly create holes cause when you go back up after you just went down you’re basically undoing your last entry so it’s almost like you’re still doing the 2 point rotation but in this way it may cause holes which can eventually lead to weakens locs. I just wanted to give you that tip to prevent any issues further down the road. 💕
Thank you! This was my 3 retie being loc and my first time trying to attempt a 3 pt rotation. Thankfully it didn’t damage my locs it still worked for me with no holes. I have changed my method but I’m still trying to figure which works for my hair!
@@ImKierraLinI believe holes will occur after some time. Not right away. So if someone is doing it incorrectly they wouldn't know until it's too late. The damage is done so then it would need repairing.

From what just watched...You did, Up, Side, Down, Then Up, Side, Down! When you went Down, the you went UP. Meaning you went Down, but turned around and went up thru the same whole, which will create HOLES IN YOUR LOCS😮. Please be careful doing the 3-point turn!!😮

I was thinking the same thing that she is repeating the 6 and 12 rotation which could lead to holes in her locks.

This video was my first time doing a 3point thankfully it didn’t leave holes. I have definitely improved and corrected my rotation since then. Thanks!
When you go top to bottom then go bottom to top right after, aren’t you just undoing the top to bottom rotation?
If I go bottom to top right after the hair will not lay in the direction it’s supposed to and it also will not be a 3 pt rotation anymore.
