[2001] 1st Concept Story CD (plus) Chronicle Sound Horizon Revo Doujin Album

1st Concept Story CD (plus) Chronicle is the first doujin album released by Sound Horizon at Comiket 61 on December 30th, 2001. Retailing for ¥1,500, it contained 9 Audio tracks, 2 Vision tracks, and 3 Bonus Audio tracks. Released through Yokoyan's booth (as Revo was denied a booth originally), it was featured alongside Yokoyan's work. Only 200-300 copies exist, and while the songs are mainly instrumental, two vocalists, 葉芹 (Hazeri) and 宮坂紀伊 (Miyasaka Kii) are credited. The HTML files on the CD contained bonus tracks, avi animations by TEM, staff messages, and a CD questionnaire. Answering the questionnaire would give fans a bonus song: SH電波 (SHDenpa, SHRadio Waves). The album's concepts were later expanded upon in Chronicle 2nd, in 2004.

*Denpa also means nonsense as well as electromagnetic waves, which is how radio is transmitted, how cell phones receive information, etc.

I just finished listening to chronicle 1st...it brought back many painful memories of when i had first got into sound horizon, when I was in a very bad place mentally. I sort of related to "Shoujo Ningyou", how she wanted everything to end... But much more then that I remembered all of the excitement I felt at discovering this amazing world. Sound Horizon definitely contributed to me getting over myself, realising how stupid I was and that I could be a better person. I realised that spending all of my time lamenting my uselessness, was infact what made me useless. Sure, I couldn't save the world, but I could at least be good to what little is around me. For now that is enough.
