Oli’s lyrics have always bee-well are mostly very good (as in not really the first EPs and album) but hey they have never been terrible, what I’m trying to say is: if you want too see the songs about that struggle, those ‘left turns’, then listen to something like ‘it never ends’ and/or ‘hospital for souls’ and/or ‘blessed with a curse’. :)

It's basically like being clingy and really wholesome. Being really affectionate and loving towards someone. So being "soppy" or "wet" is like being loving and affectionate I guess? It's hard to explain

I got to see him in November and i managed to get front row at their concert and honestly it was one of my best experiences ever. No matter how many people bash on that album it's an artwork and oli is amazing.
Oliver looks alright now. The last time I heard or listened to BMTW oli barley had a voice left. He’s doing so well now :)
Hearing Oli really go in depth about the sing, really brings tear to my eye. It’s like you get to feel their emotions, be in their shoes. I think it’s absolutely amazing. So much meaning in a 3 1/2 minute song.

I love how everyone is saying finally a real artist. I love BMTH, but they have such powerful and meaningful songs that talk about religion, depression, addiction, etc. and they have such good lyrics, but the song that Genius chooses to ask about is the pop song about love. How about you ask Oliver - or the whole band- to talk about songs from Sempiternal or -if that's not mainstream enough for you- That's the spirit?
I like the cute and heartwarming story behind the song, and I am happy for Oliver. However, I can't connect as much to this music, so it bothers me that the media are making a big deal out of it. Their old songs were fucking amazing, and no one gave them the recognition they are getting now that they sound more poppy.
