I've done it, only issue is they can't withstand the sun too long, they start tearing soon as you try to lift them up. Spend a few extra dollars and get actual fabric pots, they last over 4 yrs outdoor in direct sunlight.
Thank you! I have seven plants in grow bags. And I have seven plants in plastic buckets in plastic buckets The grow bags definitely look bigger I can't wait to look at the roots when it's over Great short video :)
Then you'll need to test everything yourself as everyone's set up s are different. Sucks but it's fun at the same time. U get to see what works for you and what doesn't
Just invested myself in fabric N hydroponics pots let soil breathe N finding hard over water with fabric 1'S so go FABRIC Gromie Mr sacks N sending good vibes fae bonny SCOTLAND UK 🏴💚🌱💯👌✌️👍🙏🔥
Bigger roots by the constant feeding of water I think ends up with double the product vs plastic pots. Everyday water vs every 3 days watering was a huge step but it was also the wow factor at the end. Cheers growmies
Plastic pot master race...actually 5 gallon BUCKET is the king. Look up umbrella effect and thats what happens in grow bags. The water never truly saturates unless you do a bottom feed. Plastic pots create a pressure with water as its added and wets the entire medium properly. Plus it needs less watering! Just my opinion
@@PollenSax I didn't see that my friend, I saw breaking up if the plastic pot rootball but didn't see you break apart the rootball of the fabric pot. I do agree fabric pots are way better, I've seen ones now that have a waterproof lining that covers two thirds of the wall, making it easier to water and still allow air pruning at the bottom third, more expensive obviously but better in the long run.
@@PollenSax the first time I used them was for peppers, total noob at the time, didn't realise exactly how fast they dry out, many lessons learned now. Take care my friend.
@@PollenSax I used coco as a substrate for tarantulas and that stuff molded : ( I wasn't watering it either, most have been residual moisture (I used those coco fiber bricks that you need to rehydrate)
In one minute you answered the question, very cool thanks.
Fun tip: You can use the woven reusable grocery bags as fabric pots and they work tremendously well! ❤️✌️

You Sir, are appreciated.
Fantastic demonstration
Straight up. Thank you. Everybody makes some 15 minute videos not getting to the god damn point.

Thanx Mr. Zander!💯
What bead counter works best 6mm or 4mm ? For seeds
3mm. The holes are about 1mm bigger than the size stated.👊👍💯
Thanks bro I about got six shoo glade I didn't
Thanks for the vid. Will start my first grow soon now definitely with fabric ones. You have any experience with airpots?
No, I've wanted to use them, but a Lil pricey.
A good investment tho, I think. I bet they're the Bomb!
Hell yea growmie fabric for the win💯👊🏽
Thinking going back to plastic pots. I am tired of watering the fabric pots every day!
I'm tired of it too, lol. Still doing it tho. Stay lifted!
Get it on a drip system and timer it 😅

Put them in a tray so the soil will suck the water back up into the pots to give you an extra day.
@@xaviermccloud4586any tipps for using fertilized water this way?
i mean does it soak the nutrients up?
You could try Root Builder pots. They’re plastic root pruning pots, though they’re expensive.
best damn explanation you could ever have, just look at the difference in the root VOLUME . Show me your roots ill tell you about your fruits! hahah
Fabric for the win for sure
Airpot ❤😊
No sir that says it all 😁🤣😎💪✌️🔥

Haha I can hear those angry/horny pigeons in the back! Hopefully your flock is doing well

@@Tinfoiledhat I hear you. My wife absolutely hates fabric pots.
I still use both. Thanks for sharing 💯

You didn't teasr the fabric pot roots open as you did with the plastic ones, would have been nice to see the whole root structure of the fabric pots.
I can't believe I didn't show that then. The roots are nuts, solid roots all over. Can't even hardly break a fabric pot's root balls.
I just watched again. It looks pretty clear to me. The fabric rootball is split nearly in half.

Fabric pots are a pain in the ass to clean for another round in my experience
Yeah that's why I use the plastic air pots. Same principle but much cleaner. I also prefer them because they are rigid.
Clicked to see if you came to the correct conclusion.
Yep.

Watch out for mold on the fabrics. Only advice I have.
you sure its not nutrient salts? I dont get mold with coco.
