I have heart failure with a moderately reduced ejection fraction. I tried doing these and could do all (standing) except for the ones where you reach down because it triggered dizziness. Dizziness is one of my symptoms, most likely from medications since most heart meds cause it. It is common in hf patients so the downward motions should be eliminated. Otherwise, a great little workout! Thank you for thinking of us hf patients!
If you can’t do it, then you can skip that. Those stretches are great if you are seated as he was in this video. As I am when I do these. Great for the lower back too.
Im 54 years old and have been diagnosed with CHF years ago. I have been taking meds like entresto 200mg, toricard 5mg. Spire 25mg and jardiance 10mg. together with my other maintenance meds with kidney stones, and RA. Thanks for the video. Will try to follow it ❤
The docs wanted me to do therapy but was to expensive for my coverage & they wouldn't give me any of the excerises I could do at home. These are fantastic. Can do from a chair because of bad knee & back
Thank you so much. Living with heart failure and trying to find a good work out was tough. But I'm so glad I found you to help woth excercise journey. Thank you so much.
I can’t thank you enough, was having difficulty breathing for some days now and my heart started to pound a little noticeable, after my first routine exercise,I feel the difference I’ll do this more often
My suggestion is when breathing out instead of lije blowing out a candle which is a little forceful to do it like you are cooling of a spoon of hot soup where you don’t want the soup to go off the spoon. Long and steady.
Thank you for this video; I'm a 50yr old male. This has been a rough year for me, I've had 2 Heart Attacks and 1 Stroke; plus my Ejection Fraction keeps getting worse... Jan 28th EF: 30%-35% May 6th EF: 15%-20% Oct 5th EF:10%-15% I try not to show it to my family, but I'm getting worried... I'm trying to keep the Faith and stay in the fight though, I will incorporate these exercises into my daily routine...
As @kasiako4287 pointed out, bending over/down is a bad idea for heart patients. It triggers dizziness, arrhythmias, sometimes fainting, and palpitations, and leads to falling if done from a standing position. Otherwise, this is a good level for heart failure rehabbers. i'll take it on.
I had a double heart bypass in 2001 and was diagnosed with heart failure in 2004 my recent MRI heart scan revealed some more scarring 28% ejection fraction that was in April now just 6 weeks ago i had a defibrillator implant and my movements are restricted due to having severe arthritis in my hips
Doc na diagnosed ko diastolic dysfunction unsay right way sa pag excercise ani hangtod kanus a nalang ko ani doc? Taaas paba kog chance ?? 28 yrs old pako huhu
I cannot make any prognosis. Only your doctor can. Pero bawas lng muna sa maalat at carbs. If kaya, 30 minutes ng walking total everyday. Additional sa normal walking mo po
I love this! I've been upset - nobody (doctors) told me I could exercise or anything. They are just giving me tons of meds! This is hope for me !
Awww. Thank you too. Please share this to you support groups if you have any. 🙏🏼❤️
