Thanks. Definitely missed those onroad RC feels. Next time I’d like to get to a track with the black carpet.

Just sat down to take a break at work and this popped up! Great fun to watch as always John! Perfect timing too as I started to look into on-road racing. My son and I are going to get into Rally racing with either Tamiya’s or the Traxxas 4-tec 2.0 chassis. And this then in turn got me looking at these cars in on-road racing also. I haven’t done well in off road buggy as I don’t race enough to get good enough to enjoy it so selling the off road and making the switch. Excited to see you doing this type of racing and will look at your other vids too. I stopped watching off road stuff due to lost interest but this is great! Always enjoy your laps and commentary! Keep it up! 👍👍👍👍👍

It looked good out there and you had what looked like good lines just lacking a bit of speed. Congrats on the B main win and doing a lot of clean and respectful racing in the A!!

Thanks. We figured out the speed difference it is a gear ratio thing. TT01 is 8.35 FDR and TT02 is 8.27 and that’s as close as they can get. So, I’ll always be a bit slower. Need to build a TT02. 😄

Nice win congratulations. I’m about to buy a ta08 pro for speed runs. I’m wondering if you’re getting friction somewhere on that long single belt I imagine it’s more sensitive to that. The tt02 is direct shaft drive so should suffer less kinetic energy loss but I’d choose the double belts for durability as I feel like plastic shafts direct yo plastic gears could be fragile. I would like a tt02b buggy and a tt02d drift car though they sound fun. Thanks for the video! Tamiya and futaba for life!
