Aadukalam climax and the climax of DARK KNIGHT has a similar ending.. Even the very last shot. Both films of VETRIMARAN & CHRISTOPHER NOLAN have dealt with themes of survival,vengance,memories and seeking redemption.
Dark knight is a very very flawed and overrated movie. Terribly paced, shitty sound design where u can barely make out the dialogues, if it wasnt for joker performance the movie would have below average.

Aadukalam deals with jealousy, greed and a master vs disciple theme, not sure where redemption, memories or survival theme comes from lol. Aadukalam is actually a properly made movie with realized roots and characters. Whereas nolan struggles with developing anything else than joker in dark knight.

Besides that, I never stated anything else about Aadukalam😂 I just replied again that I had illustrated the similarities in filmmaking of these 2 directors. Vetri sir one doubt, your movie Asuran got 2 national awards and you celebrated it on stage, and gave so many speeches but not even in one place you gave credits to Author Poomani. Without Poomani Asuran would never have happened. You speak against exploitation in films but your actions are the opposite.

He didn't FOLLOW exactly the book. If you read it you will understand. He said poomani was furious he changed the book here n there but kept the integrity of the story ne. He said the book readers are the last that will please or even accept asuran movies. Puriyuthaa unghelekke... Poomani doesn't want to be mentioned in a way. Poomani thaught his novel will reach like visaaranai.... But fiction n non fiction is different.
