- I haven't been on you tube lately, or out in a while (I will catch up soon ) so had a trip out with the Fimi 2022 and DJI MIni 2 at a very historic Hailes Castle
It was a shame the fence was up but I suppose if it's dangerous we best not go inside
awesome track is

Hailes Castle is a mainly 14th century castle about a mile and a half south-west of East Linton, East Lothian, Scotland. This castle, which has a fine riverside setting, belonged to the Hepburn family during the most important centuries of its existence.
In 1567 James Hepburn, 4th Earl of Bothwell, entertained Mary, Queen of Scots, at Hailes Castle. All his lands, including Hailes Castle, were later forfeited to the Scottish Crown.
Oliver Cromwell partly slighted the building in 1650 after the battle of Dunbar. It later passed into the hands of the Stewarts, the Setons, and finally, in 1700, the Dalrymple of Hailes family. By the mid-19th century the castle was being used as a granary, Sir David Dalrymple, Bt., having taken advantage of the more settled times to move his family to the mansion of Newhailes.

Very nice shots, beautiful historic landscape, keep it up good work 👍🙂
Thank you very much! my friend 👍😊
What a wonderful historic Castle. I can imagine it was magnificent in its day, hosting the queen ! The surrounding landscape is very beautiful as well. I love seeing old castle ruins and imagining what it once looked like and imagining the people that lived within its walls. Nice work with the filming 👍🤩
Thanks very much for the kind comment I'm always in awe when visiting these wonderful derelict castles alone and early in the mornings but living in one all those years ago I think life would have been hard for everyone except the owner 🤔😊👍
Beautiful images. Good sound. Marvelous video. LIKE bottom pressed. I SUBSCRIBED here from Brazil.
Thanks ever so much for watching have a great new year ahead 👍😊

Thanks very kindly Adrian have a great adventure soon 😊👍
Another beautiful video accompanied by wonderful music. It was fun to feel the fly-throughs of the interior. These videos always start your imagination going as you start thinking of all the people who have sought comfort and safety inside those walls. //Tom
Thank you very much for the inspired comment, although I love doing the drone videos, visiting these castles and houses early in the morning with no-one around let's you soak up the atmosphere and history of the place 😊👍
Excellent footage and flying very well done 👌👍
Thanks ever so kindly for watching 😊👍
*2:46** and there he goes "Window Surfing" again! That might have been a pisser if you had to retrieve it. 🤣Good flight and superb footage of the castle remains!👍*
Haha, thanks, David. The chances we take for the shot 🤣 👍😊
Thank you ever so kindly for watching and your kind comment have an epic adventure soon 😊👍

Looked fricking freezing cold out there. Wonderful aerial shots of this beautiful castle and surrounding landscape in magnificent autumn colours. Nice variation of flight moves and excellent smooth piloting. Your fly throughs look amazing. Great video production, Billy. 🤘👌All best wishes, Michael.
Hahaha yes Michael getting chilly in the mornings with a little frost -1 it was but the awesome castle kept me warm best regards my dear friend 😊👍
@@SkyHighVideos-4kAerialMedia Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Billy. Have a fantastic time with your family.🎄🎅 All the best, Michael
Great opening shot Billy, very smooth! 👍👍👍
Thanks Rob 😊👍
Wow! Toll gemacht, schöne Burgruine👍
Thank you ever so kindly for watching, best wishes 👍😊
Beautiful, been there many times. A bit disappointed to see it fenced off. I’ve spent many nights over the years along that stretch of water, one of my favourite fishing haunts, with some big sea trout but they are hard to catch!
Thanks for popping in and watching. It's a fantastic castle and area to visit. Best regards and have an epic adventure soon 👍😊
Love your videos. Informative, relaxing, and entertaining. Boy, it must have been cold up there! Lots of frost.
I'd like to see a rotation, to view inside as you enter a space by the external window, before exiting the opposite window.
I would love to do that but you are limited to space and when inside magnetic interference and signal is a factor if I was inside first it would be difficult to get out of the shot but will look at it 😊👍
Love the drone work in your videos. Also love the music which is always perfect for the video in question. Thanks! Imagine having a view like that near your home.
Awesome! Thank you! I think the views probably inspire the location of the castle or houses 👍😊
Very nice my friend 🙂
