    I’m renting one of these next week and have never operated one before. At 77 years old there are still some firsts in life and your video was exactly what I needed to see. Thanks so much and keep up the good work.

    Trying to learn more about these skidsteers before starting a new job. This is the first video I've seen that actually teaches the basics of the machine. Thanks!

    You did a pretty good job on showing people how to operate the switches you forgot one switch though it's the little box you lift up to disconnect the bucket other than that it was great

    Great video. Picking up my new 2021 SVL 75 tomorrow. Had a NH wheel machine previously on the farm which would get stuck a lot

    Another great review. You do a good job, so good, I am looking at purchasing a used one with my local Kubota dealer. I think this or the 65 would be just great for my farm. I look forward to more of your videos

    Thanks for video. It's explains pretty much how to move this thing around. I am receiving one that I will export in a Maritime container and needed to know how to move this machine to make an impression in front of my client. Thanks to this video I looked like a pro :)

    LOL! at 2:37 "the Kubucket" I'm trying to figure out if I can operate one of these. I have nerve damage in my left leg and would not be able to use a left pedal. Looking at your video, I should be good. I did just watch another video on the Kubota skid steer. Forward, reverse and steering were with both levers and lift and bucket curl were with left and right pedals. So I'm a little confused.

      There are two different models. This one has the pilot controls. The other is the hand and foot controls you describe.

    Good video. I would favor the kubota. I like how the bucket operates just like my tractor. The learning curve would not be to bad

  • @MrAerocomposites

    Thanks so much for your informative video. Could I use it to skim about 4 inches of dirt (clay type soil) and small rocks off of the center portion of a gently sloping mountain trail? The center portion between the ruts is about 4 feet wide. If so would the bucket with teeth be better than the one on yours? Could I use it to move rocks around that might weigh about 500 pounds ? Thanks much (I am planning to rent one of these.)

    • @SmallFarmGuys
      @SmallFarmGuys  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your better off making a new trail since the skid itself is wider than 4 feet it has an 80 inch bucket on it but the bucket I have should do what your looking for as we use it all the time to do the same thing

    • @MrAerocomposites
      @MrAerocomposites 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SmallFarmGuys Sorry I meant to say that the trail is 8 feet wide (96 inches) and the grassy part of the trail between the wheel ruts is about 4 feet wide. We want to skim that center part.

    Just bought one... Man it blows my mind when a guy will spend $65+ grand and doesn't spend the extra $200 for the radio

    • @h2oskier32
      @h2oskier32 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I have one too....The radios and speakers are junk....and you have to play it loud to really hear anything. I use Beats headphones instead....better sound, can use a lower volume and they protect my ears too. :)

    • @danielbrown9368

      I use the Honeywell bluetooth headphones with boom mike. No need for a radio at all.

      Na, with the radio you’re fighting with the engine noise, headphones are the way to go.

    Helpful input here. The REGEN system is a regeneration system that burns the soot from diesel smoke off internally. It has nothing to do with "catching on fire". That is why you don't see black soot coming from the exhaust.

    • @hatrivers8227

      Since the dpf gets up to 1200 degrees, it could potentially start a fire under certain conditions

    Great video. I notice you don't have a radio. In your opinion, is it too loud inside the cab to justify a radio? I'm about to purchase an SVL75-2, but I hear the cab noise is super loud. I don't need to pay for a radio then have to crank the sound up so loud that I damage my hearing.

    • @SmallFarmGuys
      @SmallFarmGuys  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

  • @yellowmetaldriver1460

    Horn is on the left center and have a few questions. I understood the switch on the right that you stated was flow is actually to turn on/off the self leveling isnt it? Or is that only on the 65? Great showing the float you are literally the only video out there period that details that.

    • @SmallFarmGuys
      @SmallFarmGuys  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not sure about the 65 but I don’t have to turn that switch on to have the bucket self level I only turn it on when I am using attachments like the grapple bucket which then allows me to control the grapple , we will try to make another video here soon in the future about the auxiliary hydraulics

    There are cover plates on rear back corners with 4 bolts in each. The fact that these are not perforated is hard to wrap my head around, as on the machine I brought home had so much material built up within the boom lift cylinder cavity that i'm surprised cylinders didn't snap. Just a FYI to anyone that cares about their machine you need to get those covers off and clean that cavity out . Im going to modify this pathetic setup sometime soon.
