Police chase ambulance stolen from Dallas fire department

- The driver of a stolen ambulance was taken into custody in the McKinney area on Monday afternoon after a chase that stretched across North Texas.
DPS and police officials ended the pursuit around 3 p.m. in the 500 block of Joyce Lane, hours after it started.

Because there was likely going to be possible gunfire. If you go to Chan. 5 news & watch their video it shows what happened. He had difficulty trying to run because he was having to hold onto his pants. There was no gunfire but he put up one helluva of a fight. He did it again once he was handcuffed & place in a squad car.

I believe this is the video from their chopper. It didn’t blackout when it was live. I don’t think they want us seeing the cop loose his gun. It flew out of his hand
@@RageTVHTX I did watch that several times. What I saw was the gun was in his right pointing at the suspect. The suspect pointed toward the officer. At that moment the officer reached for something with his left hand. I think it was his taser. Which he dropped. The gun was still in his right hand. That is when the suspect started running. I will watch it again tomorrow.

Kids are usually playing on that street at this time of day. We're really lucky nobody got hurt. I just put a video up of my security camera showing the whole thing from my front yard. The sound that made with the rims grinding on the pavement was like a freight train going by.

Pity there was no sound. Unsure if the pursuing officer cried 'Forsooth you bounder, stop!' or 'Give us a kiss sweetie!' as the boy compliantly instantly dropped his trousers?????? Maybe he was simply showing that his concealed weapon was not to be feared?

BECAUSE in TEXAS, they want to PRESERVE the LIFE of the suspect, as whatever the police will do, people will castigate them NO MATTER WHAT.
I'm from Texas, for MANY YEARS I've seen so many chasing of criminals that took so long, as they don't want to hurt him or her, so the media and people will not vilify them, even the suspect already killed or robbed someone.
If just them, this guy is gone in just some minutes.

This goes to show that what is more valuable a ambulance is more important to the police then a human life this is a shame they are allowing this piece of crap to drive into residential neighbors and put kids life's in danger or someone driving on the road
first of all, fix the grammar, also yeah let’s not blame the person who stole an ambulance, let’s blame the police for trying to not cause a wreck. and they are not allowing them to drive in a neighborhood, the police are clearly trying to stop him, if they were allowing them to do this, it would be legal to steal an ambulance. so no, this doesn’t show anything except that the police are trying to be safe and making it where no one gets hurt, but thanks for your opinion.

If you put a stop stick out knowing he will turn right you put one in the right lane first then go back to the first stop stick.
Stop sticks aren't never left unattended because an innocent motorists vehicle could be hit or a patrol unit could get spiked while driving through the area , public safety is top priority and not doing any damage to innocent motorists vehicles is another thing.

I'm still trying to get a lawyer. I was beatin in a Walmart off of hwy 380 and redbud. I reported it to the BBC News when they were in town. Looks like they're interested in the other side. @@samanthagomez7074 yes , the police force in the US is dominated by men and the amount of men in law enforcement is far more than the amount of female officers, in places that have female officers they quite often have to go to other departments nearby that need a female officers assistance in doing a body search of a female suspect but if there isn't any female officers then the males have to do everything and make sure that they have their bodycams running so the female suspect can't accuse them of sexual assault or the officers would take the individual to the jail and a female corrections officer would do the search.
