That’s something I struggle with ☺️ At 4am it’s pitch dark and sunrise is only about 1.5hr later. But it definitely gives a different perspective while traveling!
Great work Aquarius Binge watching season 3 during the terrible lockdown (now Oct 2021)! I lived in the Philippines and Malaysia....Indonesia people are also great and fun! Still cant make it back home in Kuala Lumpur so your channel and few others like yours are great to enjoy life passing by! Go safely Cheers
Hello Andre. So glad you're enjoying our channel. The lockdown has been a problem for all of us. Aquarius has been stuck on the hard in Thailand for over a year now, and soon we will be back on board and crossing the Indian Ocean. Fair Winds, Ken
I'm glad I watched that video - it made me happy to see you guys enjoying yourselves and to see how the locals are happy too. An amazing boat, a beautiful companion, interesting cruising in lovely waters - you're a lucky man, Ken. Thanks guys!
Great video as usual. In ref to your water ingress in the aft lazarette, you will find a drain plug at the bottom... mine leaked as well until I applied heavy marine grease. (Doubt an old seal woul be much of an issue because of the design of the lid) Enjoy yourselves HUGS TO BOTH OF YOU..
Some great footage here. Well done guys. But a shame you exited the first anchorage on the island for the captial rather than explore some closer inlets. Rare people get to where you are. like to see more.
Hi Tim, There are always time constraints. Some are just in your head, and some are real. If we had more time I would have done much more in Indo, but we can't do everything, so we try to just enjoy each day. Life is a depreciating asset, use it or loose it. No sense worrying about all those things you didn't see, just enjoy what you get to see. Because, that's all you get! Fair Winds
There's a technique when doing audio for backing tracks (music) called Enveloping. Where the volume of the music is faded down when someone is taking, and faded back in when not. You should look into it. I"m not sure if you're using it or just dropping the volume when speaking. Check it out. There are youtube videos on how to do it.
Thanks Christopher! I have big problems with sound - that’s my biggest challenge. I believe I do “enveloping” most of the time and it does automatically for VO’s. But still so difficult! Will look into that and will see if there’s any advanced courses for iMovie sound
@@SailingAquarius If it's doing it automatically, that beats doing it manually. lol Your audio is fine, though I'm with you on the challenge. It'a a pain in the butt cleaning audio. lol Another awesome video. I think you and Sailing Florence should both be in Indonesia at the same time. Maybe you can work out a collaboration?
Hi Eric, I'm happy you noticing, and shamefully admit that we are behind our videos. We've been travelling a bit still in Indonesia, but as you fly someplace and pay for flight and hotel the last thing you want to do is sit inside and work on videos. Other thing - we working on "2.5 years Half around the World" video that's been taking so much time... but hopefully should be released next week
Great video guys were you told in advance about needing pens books and other things to give? Very interesting and a lot of early morning wake up calls must be tough not to buy tidbits in all your travels Cheers
We bought a lot of books and pens in Panama to give to kids in French Polynesia, but felt funny as we walked into school with our donations and saw stacked up brand new laptops and fancy stuff all over - I guess France is subsidizing it really well 👌 ask we still had some but we buy it here all the time as need is tremendous especially in the remote villages. As per buying tidbits we don’t really buy as in boat there’s very little space and you can feel it filling up. I admire “minimalist” idea and that’s although not always attainable but very inspiring to me
Puikus video Živile... AČIŪ. Ken, do not forget to tell us more about sailing matters, the boat, problem solving and so on. Thanks for adventures sharing. :)
@@JCrook1028 I truly believe kids are just being kids. They have no electronic gadgets to keep them busy so we are their attraction. We've been asked for books and pens mainly and I'm happy to give these things, and few times we were asked for money, but we do not respond to that request :)
Hi guys another great video thanks I was wondering what happened as its been 2weeks since the last one as I think they are great to watch and see the beautiful places you go to that we have in the world stay safe thanks again happy and safe boating cheers Barry Sydney Australia 🇦🇺

Scenery was wonderful! So colorful. Terrific photography Thanks. :¬) Webhead USA
I am quite impressed with your work. I don't think I've seen this area before. :¬) Webhead USA
Thanks for watching and kind words ☺️
I really like the 4am prayers, it's a great way to peace out and watch the sunrise before another day in paradise

We had a leak coming thru the bolts that hold the back bumper. Check that too.

Nice til it gets tiring. I wonder how much of it is taught behavior to elicit gifts.

Всё хорошо ! Вот только жаль что я Ваш язык не знаю.....сложно без перевода.
Извините, я не могу этого представить, хотя хотелa бы. Я не могу поставить субтитры даже по-английски, где Google работает наполовину ...
