Thank you for this! I want to bring my children on one of your tours. I'm from Mississippi, but my great-granny was Geechee. I don't want my children to lose that connection.

Let me say 1st , I love your content. I am from Mississippi but I recently moved to Beaufort( there is a story there). When I met my family from here for the first time, I was introduced to gullah geechee culture and fell in love. I instantly felt like I had found the missing piece of my roots. They gifted me with a gullah bible when we met. I have so much to learn and I am ready! That's how I came across your content. I plan to tour with you as soon as I can because you do a great job at sharing and educating about this rich culture. Keep up the great work!
I’m from up north and I realize I be speakin Gullah ( my family roots Gullah and from sc) when I went down there I instantly felt at home and understood Gullah. It shocked even myself it’s like I unlocked a hidden knowledge. It’s crazy people don’t be respecting it dem be the ones demonizing culture
Ion like when people dis Charleston, especially when they ain’t even know my city nor visit it. I got love for my city and my people and can’t stand for the hate. ❤❤❤❤
I like how you talk about the white supremacy too, which I never realized but sooo many Caucasian people from northern states are ignorant to believe white supremacy still exists 😅
Charleston has the best soul food on the planet.
Thank you for what you do.
Thanks for watching

Do you offer online lessons or know a place where classes are offered in the lowcountry area?
