You did NOT break the case! If you read all the reviews on their website for this case the sliding of the top part of the case is an issue for most everyone. Thank you for making the video so that we could see it sliding! Slides off way to easily. I will not be buying thanks to your video and those reviews!

There is supposed to be a stick black strip on it, but my has gone bad now, and only had since December last year. I have dropped it a lot and it was protected it

Thanks a lot for this review! I cancelled my preorder since it wasn't shipped yet. This is insane same or maybe worse than UAG one. I have a clear hard case from Ringke one without hinge protection and sticker. I feel like these hinge protection makes those case loose and hard to fit with phone.

I added a tiny bit of double sided tape to the lip on the top part of the case. Doesn't slide anymore.

Did you apply anything heavy duty or just simple two sided tape? I would like to purchase this case but slightly concerned with how easily it slides

Anyway I already saw some people who bought this case and kept loosing the phone same as yours so I think it's entirely defective.
I had a problem with the Spigen case where the hinge protector flap would not retract properly.
