Isn't the Dragon tail actually a Rhaphidophora decursiva and not a philodendron? I think you should trade your ROF for a Golden Crocodile. Same growth pattern, but the neon green leaves you said you love! Did you do a count? That's quite a collection!
I thought so too but the seller was persistent that it’s a philodendron and they are a well known website. So there must just be 2 versions. Ooo I’ll look that one up. Yes I have 20 🫣 feels like more 😂
Philos are my fav, tons of diversity. Just got a BIG Lynette/Campi she’s a beaut. Shes standing like an upright fan to all face the window, very cool, My White Wizard also one of my favs, just put it on a moss pole! I gave my silver sword away, never did anything in over a year 🤷♀️ I’ve got a couple ppp in my pot, doesn’t grow much, if I give it any less light she’ll eventually get leggy.. not my fav right now Interesting my ring of fire is one of my top favs lol the new ones coming out are super pinky orange My Gloriosum shot from both sides, or they’re 2 plants just growing that way, I’ll see when I repot
you should try my concoction of a potting media lovely ... especially if youre into roots :) my 2 clarinervium, i jet washed the roots to get rid of the soil they came in 3 weeks later i have a new leaf on both emerging. mental considering the stress :)
I do love the anthurium mix that soil ninja make, I sometimes add more bark to it, to make it even more chunky. I understand why nurseries use such a dense mix but sometimes it just creates problems 🫣
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am pretty certain that your "Glorious" is also a Splendid. Philodendron Glorious does not have the electric kind of veining and also does not have any red color on the backside of its leaves😊
@@myjunglestory That's unfortunate! However, before you now go buy a Glorious, just know that they are known for producing A LOT of the sticky fluid - moreso than most other Philodendron😅
It seems the Rhaphidora Decurseva and the Philodendron Dragon Tail are names frequently used interchangeably. Much like folks using the name pothos when they are are really talking about a scindapsus.
My El Choco is just a baby, waiting to get it on a pole too, the leaves are seriously beat up already though, it was the last one left, had to grab it, it only had one leaf pop in my care so far Where can u find those thicker/wider moss poles? I’ve been searching for weeks Isn’t that Dragon tail a Rhaphidophora Decursiva? Or it there an actual Philo version? Mine wants to crawl so bad My Joepii has THE longest petioles!
I buy those moss pole son Amazon. I thought so too but we did buy it as a philodendron and when I contacted the seller they were also pretty persistent. So maybe it is just a philodendron version.
@@myjunglestoryno it’s a Rhaphidophora decursiva. It’s from Asia. Philodendrons are from the Americas. No Philodendon version. It looks more similar to some Monstera.
I love hearing you talk about your plants and your whole vibe ! ❤
Thank you 🥰💚
Philodendron ❤ Favorites!
I have been loving your channel 💚 You have such a beautiful collection and amazing cover pots.
Thank you 🙏🏼 a lot of my pots were sale items. Most of them have something wrong with them but I love the imperfections.
@@myjunglestory I think we are all like that I love a bargain from plants that are going cheap and need a new home xx
@@lizzielonglegs1980 yes I’m definitely a sucker for that 😂 but I think any plant parent would be. So hard to say no to them 💚
Loved your philodendron collection!!
Thank you 💚

I do love the diversity of philodendron. It never gets boring and some can be super easy and some I can’t figure out. Glad I’m not alone 😆💚
So i just realised I have the Philo bug too...surrounded by my big leafed lovelies tho seems I've got names to learn 😊

The last one is Philodendron Splendid. A hybrid of melanochrysum and verrucosum. P. Glorious has no verrucosum in its heritage.
i currently have piper obliquum sown looking forward so much :)

You’re right her glorious is also a splendid
Oh no it was sold to me on a pretty well known website as a glorious. Just now they mixed up the two 🫣
Wow okay thank you for commenting! It isn’t a glorious. No that’s so sad. We bought it as a tiny baby so they must have mixed up the two.
@@myjunglestory That's unfortunate! However, before you now go buy a Glorious, just know that they are known for producing A LOT of the sticky fluid - moreso than most other Philodendron😅
@@jacobtantholt3603 ja I’m used to that by now. It is annoying but they are worth it. I find giving them a hose seems to keep at bay (a little) 😂
I was chocked wen you said you where getting rid of the plowmani! Until you said you had another one 😅
🤣 I can never completely get rid of a plant.

Ja I honestly don’t know anymore. The seller sold both kinds and this one was labelled as a philodendron. Either way beautiful plants 😆
Seller most likely was correct. There is a difference. My local plant shop sells both . They are slightly different

I like 2 crawlers per pot.
It does fill it out nicely doesn’t it 😍
