Of course we want a video on your bullpen! With just the story/thesis for each. No need for long video with deep analysis. Thx
Glad to have you back Jimmy! 🐐 👑
Glad to have you back jimmy!
I am Indian and also invest little bit in us market and I don't have that much knowledge of Us market you are my go to TH-camr.
I'd love to see a video on your bullpen stocks!
Hi, what is the platform you are using? Looking for something that does a good dcf calculation!
Paypal is a stock that I wouldn't feel comfortable buying at any price. There's just way too much competition in the space, and I hear WAY too many people online talk about how Paypal screwed them over and stole their money by siding with a scammer/etc. I'd much rather buy something with a credit card, Apple Pay, or one of the many competitors to Paypal.
Thanks for the video Jimmy! Waiting for the CVS)))
Welcome back Jimmy!
Would love to see a video on your bullpen
Jimmy what do you consider a half position to be? Half of 1000 shares ?
It's been a minute Jimmy. Good to have you back
PYPL is a buy at this price. Personally, I want PYPL to go down further so I could get a better deal.
No. It's in a downtrend wait to it begins to raise. Needs to close over 100-200TEMA three days in a row.
Great video Jimmy. I was thinking about adding Paypal again but I have too many stocks in the financial sector. With their user base and capital its kind of their game to lose even as competition increases. I think they need to find more ways to monetize or another partnership like what they had with eBay. Still on my watchlist.
I have also bought PayPal and unfortunately bought it at a higher price but I am going to continue to build onto my position. I have my avg cost around Jimmy's fair value with the additional 20% margin
Tesla
Amazon
Alphabet
Are all way better stocks to buy now.
Paypal could close down tomorrow and not many customer would even care.
$ 50 stock next year is my guess.
Thanks for the video Jimmy. $PYPL has been on my watch list too. I had a buy price of $70, but still have not bought yet after it hit that price. I would like to see a video about other stocks in your bullpen/watchlist or individual videos such as this. Thanks!
sell, sell, sell. PayPal is still in a downtrend. So cash in the loss and write it off. And MAYBE buy back payPal when the trend turns around (if ever)
@@chrisja1998 Sell what? What loss? You did not read my comment did you? 😆
Jimmy has retired guys not sure if you’ve heard. I’m shocked he didn’t seem like a guy to retire and out of the blue randomly
What does a “ half position” mean?
Thanks for your analysis! It helped me understand this stock much better.
Always great insightful videos, keep up the great work! Yea would love to see a video on your bullpen stocks list!
Hello very nice video !! Where i can find this DFC model ??
Thank you Jimmy for your hard work and dedication in putting out a well researched video. Like most here it has been on my watch list but still not fully ready to jump in.
Thanks for the video. Analysts free cash flow forecasts are a bit too optimistic for my taste, but at these levels, I still believe it’s a buy.
Hey Jimmy, thank you for the video.
are you selling citigroup to buy paypal ?
even if you don´t I´m curious to know which would be your line of thought in the hypothetical situation that you wanted to substitute citigroup for paypal and citigroup was losing 25% overall.
thank you
Paypal was a good buy at 130. So many analysts were recommending it. I'm deep in the red on it. Not adding anything to this. I should of took profits when it was way up during early covid.
You've got a looooooooooong investing journey ahead of you if you're at the "I should of" phase.
Average down.
lol
@@CallystahRyep.. I'm averaged down into the $80 range now.. Will average down more if it keeps dipping
If it was a good buy at 130 it should be even better at current prices
It was most definitely a terrible buy at 130.
The business is not extraordinarily unique or great for customers, and competition in the space is strong. Now the price is extremely low though, so i did sell a $65 put expiring in January. Not really intending on owning this specific stock long term but rather capitalize on the market’s current extreme pessimism
Greetings from Latvia!!
Alex doesn't come on until the 27th, once he is up to speed, I am sure he will provide a plan of action.
Could you see Levi and Qfin?
Already have 20 Shares at 65.25$
Yes, it might be a good trade. I think the market can push it to 100$ somwhere in the future.
The Pals of Pay is one of the most over sold stocks in the market right now ....its like meta stock all over again
Meta was much more of a deep value than paypal, in my opinion. Paypal used to be one of the only ways to pay for things online that was really smooth and easy. Now their are so many options for online payments that they have become one of many options. Also the Financials of the company don't look the strongest. Despite all this I do think the stock is probably undervalued
Meta is Meta.. Not the same
Not even half Meta was a great opportunity this one is just ok
WBA is more over sold
@lawrencethomass816 yes but a possible better buy is CVS compare the foward pe ratio on both CVS is growing and is cheap
Great explanation, thank you!
Jimmy can you cover some Nuclear energy stocks. They have been rallying very high and are set to go much higher soon, mainly based on speculation. Thanks!
Will Paypal even still be in business in 5 years ?
Lets see it Jim! Let out the bulls!
Ty for all the hard work you do Jimmy!
Thank you, Jimmy! Love the level of detail.
Somebody needs to acquire PayPal
Do 3M next
Jimmy, I am interested in a comparison on historical projections for analysts and their level of accuracy. So, when you list the analysts', projections can you come up with a level of accuracy index number based on historical analyst projections. How good have they been at pegging the growth. It would be valuable how good the analysts are, historically, a predicting number would provide a greater degree of confidence. The projections seem like they just took industry growth numbers and assumed market share would be the same. If that is the case, then their projections mean almost nothing.
Thanks Jimmy. Any thoughts on losing market share?
PAYPAL GAP AT $45.00 ISH. Going to at least $45.00
I bought PayPal back in 2018 at 86$ a share from advice of my financial advisor, considering buying more
I would be interested to hear what stocks are in your bullpen.
How's the website working these days ?
What is a "half position"?
it sounds like he has bought only a fraction of the total number of shares he is planning to buy.
Depends on your own portfolio 🤷♂️
Half of what "you plan" to put in the stock. You should always figure out the amount for each of your positions. Know what buying and selling prices you want. Know if you're going to ease in and out of the position or do bulk transactions. That's the "optimal" investor approach (easier said than done lol) Good luck!
Half a share 😂
Let's see the bullpen, Jim. Dont make us beg.
Jimmy I always like your analysis. However I believe PayPal is operating in a very competitive business which is dominated by big guys; Visa, Mastercard and other big banks. Even Block (SQ) will face the same challengers like PayPal. Big guys will never let these small guys to succeed. One day these companies can be bought by big players. I may be 100% wrong.
@chamindasilva3191 Keep in mind , paypal was succeeding even when master card and visa were dominating before the drop..Still has one of the biggest user bases in the world. Room to grow here for sure.. Perhaps not to the 300 range again but still room to grow.
Just bought a few shares like 30 mins ago before I saw the video haha
$ 50 next year stock.
@@ronmatthews2164 Let’s hope so 🙂
@@ronmatthews2164Yeah people in this comment section dont understand that a downtrend is a downtrend. We don't buy stocks in a downtrend, because there is a VERY big reasson it is like that.
What tool is that? Can someone share the link?
Let's see that bullpen
What about 3m plc
Great video
pls analyse walt disney and citigroup as well
good video mate
Paypal, Disney, Square was the worst stock ever..
Paypal is not excessively oversold on any time frame and has room to run to the downside. Could you buy here and expect a positive return over the next ten years? Yes. Is this a good investment opportunity at this time? No. When eventually the market realizes that recession is here, Paypal is not the kind of stock you want to own headed into and during that recession. It's the kind of stock you want to buy coming out of that recession. It's a recovery play. It is not a recession play, as Paypal is not a recession proof stock in a recession proof industry.
I agree with that. I also agree with Jimmy for making it a small position only. It is not a bad time to have a initial position right now. If indeed the recession comes soon there will be an opportunity to actual add a little more if it halves from this level. I suppose no one really knows what happens tomorrow
by the time you decide to "buy" , it will already be too late. Unless you never want to own paypal shares
@@tiagoserafim7739 half from here?! That would match all-time low of 30. In 2015, net income was 1.2B on 9.2B sales. For TTM, the numbers are 2.7B and 28B.
Recession is already priced, you might regret not owning pypl
You are correct
Bullllllpen!
I don't like Paypal's business model. Pass.
Disney video?
ciff
Bought it last week. Nice to see a video on it
Sell
@@chrisja1998 why? Im down a couple percent. Fools like you are the once that get washed out

Another PayPal video 😂
PYPL at $55
Why that specific number? Based on some analysis?
@@AnthonyLauder support is at $55.10-$60.31... I see it hitting the low end of support especially considering we're in September.
$ 50 stock next year.
First people in this comment section to even MENTION technical analysis. Love it. PayPal is in a downtrend, and we dont go bullish in something thats trading down.
@@chrisja1998 You have a good point but price never goes str8 down or str8 up... If PYPL hit $55 I see it bouncing of that back to $60-$65 before going lower if it does.
Gonna load up at $55 sell 50% off my shares as a trade when it bounces and hold onto the rest 🔌🧠💡
SQ follow up :)
