    37:22 Is that an error concerning Apple Music streaming service support, will that be coming to Denon & Marantz AVR/AVP products?

    I also use the old HEOS AMP as secondary, driving the surround speakers for my primary HEOS AVR. A pity that I however can’t connect a subwoofer to the AMP as well. The subwoofer can only be connected to the AVR itself. It feels as if this option just had been forgotten… please keep updating HEOS, also the older stuff!

    I’m getting my Denon home amp on Tuesday which will be replacing my ceol N10 - why am I replacing well it’s down to the form factor of the Denon home it’s gonna sit inside a ikea tv unit also earc is very important for my Apple TV with this I can play Apple Music lossless with my LG oled tv switched off (under settings screen off )meaning I don’t have to use airplay which can be a pain sometimes - will be pairing my home amp with the awesome Dali bookshelf speakers which I’ve used with my ceol for the last year the detail is amazing from these speakers I’m hoping the Denon home amp will preform as good - shout out to richer sounds in the UK for getting this ordered in for me.

    Why is the Denon cheaper than the Marantz is it the components used? Because Marantz gives 5 year warranty and Denon amp has only 2 years.

    I really wish the Home amp could be used with A) the home sub(wireless), and B) the Home surrounds(150s); so i could use my own speakers with a 4.1 setup - that's a real miss in my book especially as it has a HDMI input and e/ARC. the Home soundbar is a great unit, but i also listen to music on my current AVR (that is only running 5.1 for movies/tv). soundbars just wont cut it for me so this would have been perfect if the above was supported - the reason this would impact me is that I don't have an ability to trail lots of wires around (wife objects) so currently I run a Yamaha AVR with musicast wireless surrounds and wireless sub - I'd really love Denon to enable me to do something similar - such a shame ; I should point out my use case aside - this looks like a great unit and looks really nice for a discreate stereo /2.1 setup.
    I have to admit i am very much looking to exit the Yamaha eco system, but i am still looking for something that gives me the same feature set.

    When will there finally be a Battery powered option for the Denon Home 150 like the Heos 1 HS 2 had? It has been almost 5 years you have been missing to offer this!

    I tried HEOS and Tidal Connect on my X6700H 7.1.6 system. Disappointed to find that you only send a FLAC stream when I select an Atmos title. I presume this to be a HEOS limitation as Tidal app on the Sony and AppleTV decode as Atmos on the 6700. While I understand HEOS is primarily a two channel distributed audio system, all the major music streaming services now have Atmos music. If you want to listen on speakers, it will be through an AVR or processor. HEOS on my 6700 should support this in my mind.

    I'm an Apple Music and Qobuz music listener, neither of which Denon includes with HEOS, even though you've listed Apple Music on your slide around 37:20, so ... I don't use HEOS ... when can we expect both of those services to be added? It's not like MQA, Apple Music and Qobuz are widely available and accepted.

      Same with me and I do not See or hear and comment. Why Q&A if we can not get an answer!

    • @dunnersfella
      @dunnersfella 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      MQA isn't widely accepted... it's just been culled from Tidal in favour of FLAC... so you could easily say it's dead in the water. Qobuz is certainly available for users, but only 200,000 subscribers globally have taken it up... which tells me it's not worth the time or money for Hi-Fi companies to implement (Spotify has 626 million users in comparison). I don't know for sure, but I believe Apple Music is very much locked down by Apple to their own products and Sonos due to Sonos's massive market share. The likes of Qobuz will be lucky to survive if Spotify ever turn on their long discussed High-Res tier... heck, I think it's amazing they have lasted as long as they have.
      FYI I have Spotify, Tidal, TH-cam Music and Qobuz personally... but Qobuz is the first for the chopping block due to its lack of a Connect style service.

      Seems misleading that the Apple Music logo is included under ‘Selected Streaming Partners’ when there isn’t any indication that Heos offers Apple Music integration? If this was planned to be included in future I might consider a Heos device, especially if it supported lossless/hi res

      Qobuz - contrary to popular belief - is a niche product, available only in 26 countries. It's not available in India, for example.

    I cant get a straight answer out of Crutchfield or anyone else , I want to buy the AV10 if I stream to Heos and I access Tidal can it play in 24bit over Heos ?I owned a Marantz in the past and I was limited to 16 bit on the on line display . is there a16 bit limitation or can you do 24 bit now . I bought a node2 and an external DAC and it sounds great but if I go to the av10 Ill probably move away from the nod dac setup to try to consolidate equip im getting older and want less stuff but better quality stuff.

    After recent update, Tidal Connect is available, but will not work with Atmos content. Is there specific reason for that?

    • @MohsinWadee
      @MohsinWadee หลายเดือนก่อน

      This seems to be a Tidal problem, now that you mention it. The only way to do it currently is to use the Tidal TV app. Good luck with that too as Tidal has withdrawn app support on Samsung TVs, so your only hope is a LG TV.

      Apparently the Denon Home has a few different parts inside.

    • @rickgrimes4845
      @rickgrimes4845 หลายเดือนก่อน

      basically same but apparently the Denon is tuned even more forward and "aggressive" than the M1. And many reviewers have said that the M1 is already forward compared to other streaming amps and is better suited with warm speakers. So I think that the Denon might be too harsh sounding with neutral/forward speakers. I would only pair it with warm speakers.

    What's the purpose of hires music, since Audyssey only works up tp 48khz/24 bit internally and downsamples hires? Do we have to switch off Audyssey in order o have any advantage of hires?

    @SoundUnitedTraining, why has the Denon soundbar range gone stale? You haven't replaced the flagship HEOS Bar (later called Denon Bar) for example, and the rest of the range is frankly uncompetitive/mediocre. Seems Denon is retiring from soundbars?

      @menash41 It has been revealed that D+M's current AVR/AVP lineup will NOT receive Roon Ready certification, so unfortunately the "flagship" Marantz AV10 will NOT receive Roon Ready support, an absolute fiasco by Masimo Consumer :(

      @@menash41 It looks like my post got deleted, I keep forgetting links are not allowed but this was the response from Denon UK regarding older D+M AVR/AVP models, "Denon UK support comments on legacy AVRs Roon Readiness: There are currently no plans of updating our legacy AVR’s to give them Roon Ready support.
      No legacy AVR’s will get a Roon Ready upgrade. If customers want Roon Ready they will have to upgrade the hardware." & this is from a D+M Insider with very reliable information, "Roon Ready for D&M, which was planned for the current 2023 line was dropped and it will be supported out of the box together with the new HEOS+ ecosystem on the next line of AVRs (X?900H for Denon, Cinema x1 for Marantz). No Roon ready for the X4800H, nor Dolby Atmos music support via HEOS."

    Did no one test it ever? Because literally I can break it in about 5 minutes.
    Love the M1 but the software side is 4/10.
