Even just filming you putting screws in,painting, odd jobs all ring in some cash for you from this utube channel. We’re behind you for sure to get to your goal. All good things in life don’t come easy.
Well done 👍 for this Fantastic achievement and incredible amount of hard work you done .You should be very proud 😊All good wishes for your family Merry Christmas! 🤶🏻
Just subscribed. From the beginning piece i thought you'd got a tonne of work to do, but wow you've accomplished soo much. Whatyou have done is brilliant .It must feel great to be morgage free. Take care
As a young person with no mortgage, a dry roof over your head, just relax and be patient and all will happen in good time. Just think of all the money you are saving on interest on a mortgage, it will put things in better perspective. New subscriber.
You're definitely on the right track. You've achieved habitable rooms to give you a degree of comfort whilst you replenish the coffers. Look forward to seeing you back real soon.🤩🤩
Thank you Sandra. Totally agree. Should be putting a video in a few weeks that should cost me nothing. Just time. So watch this space. Thanks again Dave
Absolutely love the level of honesty in this video, you've achieved so much since you started and doing the vast majority on your own is not an easy task! well played mate!
@@FromLeedsToWest I have also been re-watching your videos. I am learning new things, and am always ready for new videos to come out. We will be doing a lot of renovations, and repairs on our recently purchased mid-terraced house in Blackpool in the near future. If you know of any people in the trades that do good quality work, and are reasonable with costs please let me know.🙂
@ thanks again. Sadly I don’t have any recommendations. The reason I try and do everything myself is because of multiple bad experiences. Even the builder I had here will not be coming back. Also I’m new to the area so I just don’t know. Best course I would say would be to ask friends and family who have had work done. I wouldn’t use any trade websites or Facebook.
That being said drop me an email. My email is on my TH-cam homepage. I will be happy to suggest some trades I have worked with in Blackpool. Depends on what you require.
Really great channel. Your wife has a keen eye to design and it’s clear you both have your daughter’s heart in first place. It’s time to go back to your talent to fix and better what areas need attention. You might also take us to your workshop to see your welding jobs and perhaps more custom furniture to sell on marketplace. I think you have great content to include on your channel. Talk to us about what’s going on today verses the past. Show us your talent to build for others and not the story of how others failed to deliver. You needn’t apologize for anything. As your resources return you’ll be in a position to do things the way you always preferred. We don’t need to know the reasons you had to fall short of your ideal solutions. You’re a great guy and you will soar when this takes off.
Thank you for the kind comments. Eventually I hope to take you guys with me on jobs but sadly I do need to loose the workshop at some point. But I’m trying to hold onto it for as long as possible. Once I have some funds for materials we will definitely build some cool stuff. Just you wait. Thanks for watching. Dave
Glad to see you back! Please introduce us to the bunnies in an episode. Didn't know about them. Also curious to know what you did with that stained glass window in the upstairs hallway.
I’m sure that time will come. I need to make them a permanent home. They are in the temporary accommodation at the moment. Nothing has happened with the stain glass window yet. But I have figured out that the image of the abbey in the top Center of the glass is fountains abbey. I wonder why?
Plenty of glimpses throughout the vlog. You might be able to advise me on how to repair a broken area. I was thinking of trying to fully remove it all and clean it up on a bench. It’s covered in years of paint. But also that sounds very risky to me.
@@FromLeedsToWest Being fairly new to working with stained glass, I've never attempted repairing a panel before. However, there are repair videos on TH-cam I've watched which would show you how it's done and the tools needed. A couple of those artists are in the UK. Just search by "repairing stained glass". Love how you've fixed up your home.
@ been following @lightleadeddesigns for a while now. He would be the man for the job but for now with £zero cash it’s on the later base. Would love to give it a go tho. I do need to fix it at some point.
State of old boards. Not worth saving. Time and money. In a nutshell. Can always come back to them in a few years but if I honestly don’t see the point. 90% would need to be replaced.
I have done many things with wood but never worked on houses. All the weird and wonderful. Should probably do a video on it really. The last few years I have worked on tv and film building scenery. I really enjoy making furniture out of steel and wood but I couldn’t drum up enough business to make it work. I just like making things. 😂
Your intro is too long I almost to the next thing that I was busy fixing something so you lingered with your mouth too long and by when I got back you were finally doing something think of it before next time

Well done you. The home is looking great. You have done a great job and should be proud of all your hard work.
It’s easy to forget all the work that already gone in to it already. Thanks for the support.
It's good to know you're settled in and doing well. Looks like a home that will be cozy for Christmas, no matter how far along you are.
Yeah we are. We are loving it. Lots to do but also just enjoying some of the space we have now.
What an amazing job you’ve done so far.

Great job! You are a hard worker, and really have improved this house immensely already. I’ve subscribed to your channel. ❄️🇨🇦
Thank you. Not scared of putting in the work. Glad you are enjoying the content. ☔️🇬🇧

Thank you so much for your comment and support. Means a lot 😀
Glad you're still here.
I can assure you there will be more to come. Happy to see you in the comments again 😀

Thanks Helen. Honestly feel incredibly privileged to be mortgage free. It’s always been the goal. Thanks for the sub. Thanks again. Dave

Thanks for the continued support dude! We made the subs and watch hours this week. Crazy 🤪
Glad you’ve settled in
Fully settled and loving it 🥳
Good to see you are still at it! Well done, and you are in your home. Things will get done in time, you have accomplished so much already.
I recently watched the videos back. We have accomplished so much. Still hungry for more. Happy to see some family faces in the comments again 😁

Just know you have our support. No pressure. Take care of home and it’ll all work out.
Congratulations! Your in the house! Everything else will eventually happen!!! :)
Thank you. It already feels like home. Even tho a lot of it is a building site. Run the course. We will definitely get there.
phew! i am tired just from watching how hard you worked!
Nice to see you again. I think you've got loads done. The main thing is you've now moved in.
It’s good to be back. This was the hardest video to make because I had to find the footage. It’s been good to be in. We love it.
Amazing work man, crazy skills to be able to do all of that. It looks amazing 👌
Cheers mate. It’s not even skill. It’s just unprecedented determination. Either that or living with your in-laws for 8 months 😂
So much work amazing❤
Thank you so much 😀

As a novice stained glass hobbyist, I loved the glimpses of your stained glass entryway and skylight.

Yes we will. 💪
Getting closer to a 1000 subs too!
I lost a lot of subs during my month off but to break 900 does feel like we are getting closer.
😁👍
What was the reasoning behind putting laminate over the original floor boards?
State of old boards. Not worth saving. Time and money. In a nutshell. Can always come back to them in a few years but if I honestly don’t see the point. 90% would need to be replaced.
Poor guys color blind .
Could I ask what your skilled in as people could give you jobs and pay for your work.
