    • @BeaversHobby

      It depends on the diff too. For standard gear diff and front one way it should be alright. If it's ball differential then the ball diff tends to be shorter than other diffs but the dogbone should still reach the diff though. At least that's what I got.

  • @Nikoslido
    @Nikoslido 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hi. What type of differential do you recommend to put in the front wheels . My left front wheel stops spinning when there is resistance (when accelerating against a wall for example) , I don't know why.

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A normal differential will only send power to the wheel with least resistance. If you can drive it then it's alright. If it starts to act weird like not turning to one side then change it to something else. For driving normally (grip) get a Mini-Z differential or ball differential. For drifting, just open it up and glue it to make locked diff.

    • @BeaversHobby

      A standard plastic gear diff is much smoother and much more durable than the original WLtoys diff.
      The ball diff from Mini-Q is really good. It slips after a while so you'll have to keep adjusting it but it's miles better than WLtoys' original part.

    I have used 7000 silicone oil from Kyosho to move smoothly, but it wont work. I checked the wheel tightness and onewaydiff. So my question is is oneway oil can make it better? Or should I try to buy sinohobby’s eway diff? I personally think it is the diff cup joint has some friction to blocking the spinning after release the throttle.

    Is there a way to cure the spinning out once off the gas?

    • @BeaversHobby

      Usually something goes wrong with the drivetrain that make one or more wheel to spin slower than other wheels or lock up when you let go of the throttle. Check if all 4 wheels aren't over tighten first then check if the diff work correctly.
      Also check tyres contact on the floor if it's equals on all corners.

      I just got the ball diff for WLtoys today and the only 2 good things are it's made of metal and you can use it with WLtoys without changing universal shaft to long shaft. All the rest are pretty bad. As a ball diff it's the worst I've ever had. Right now even after a lot of sanding and run-in it's getting smoother but nowhere near what I'd want to run in my car.
