Long answer: I might be missing something, but the only argument I really hear in support of her being lesbian is that she hates men and only likes women, which I just don't understand. Way I see it, Manfred was probably a bit misogynistic in a way and brought Franziska up thinking men were a lot tougher than women and thus Franziska feels she must be more aggressive with men as a result. This is because when we first meet her in JFA, she instantly assumes Phoenix is surprised due to the fact she is a woman, *not the fact she is 18.* If Franziska's thinking the fact she's a female is enough to surprise someone to silence, she was probably brought up thinking some very stereotypical things about men (strong, never cries, etc.) as well. Another thing worth noting is that she probably is nicer to women due to the fact she can relate to them in a way, being a woman herself and (probably) the only woman she ever really knew meaning she probably sees most women as the Franziska beneath her facade of aggression. I just think claiming she's lesbian because of how she treats men and women doesn't really work. I mean, yes, she's nicer with women, but more in a suffragette kinda way. Like, being aggressive with men and kind to women because of societal issues rather than because of sexuality. TL;DR: she's more of a suffragette than a lesbian. Short answer: I'm a diehard Phoenziska shipper.

True, she does seem desperate to save Maya, but those can be explained. In JFA: It's not to keep Maya safe, it's to make Phoenix lose (cause she's still centric on victory at that point). In T&T: As a Phoenziska shipper, I can easily see her trying to save Maya cause Maya is one of Phoenix's best friends. Saving someone's best friend from certain death can earn a lot of respect from them. Not saying that's why she did it in-game, I'm just presenting another way to explain it. I completely understand why you would interpret it as that, I simply don't, to each their own, though. (:
