This is one of the Chinese drama that I absolutely loved. There are many dramas showing capable women, but still the women end up being with someone who isn't right for them. Meanwhile this drama normalised "going on in life" for women too. It showed that even though the society saw women still inferior to men, these strong women dealth with all the hurdles their own way and went on with living their life in a right way.
