I did what you said and it started letting me load back into gta v, but after I changed the slashes it now says that it isnt finding any of my models in peds, in peds.rtf? I am confused on how to fix this.

Hey chillax, i did this because i crashed with my addonpeds after installing it, then all of a sudden. i can' use it yep, but when i put the pause menu, thats where the problem starts. it freezes my whole pc and restarts. do you know a fix?

Absolute legend! I installed a few graphics and environment overhauls for like the 5th time this week, crashed yet again - but with this guide after many failed attempts from other guides this fixed my crashes after trying to load into the game. After I change all the slashes I try to save it and it says xml parsing error at line 91, col 4: end tag paths does not match the start tag item

Extra tip: If you use a text editor to replace all the slash to backlash, and then replace "\Item" for "/Item", you WILL get a weird XML syntax error.
For some reason, there is a christmas DLC entry that MUST end with "/item" (instead of with uppercase i "/Item"). Change just that one, and you are golden.

@@2dasfhbnerjahn Copy the text into a plain text editor (like Notepad++), make the replacements there, and once you are done, copy the content back to the file in OpenIV.

I install a few more addonpeds today and game begins to crash during loading. This method stopped the crash for me but also it disabled some dlcpacks from loading. Like the cayo perico dlc. Any idea why this could be happening?
Same. I also have that issue and wonder if there’s a way to keep add-on peds as well as keep the new DLCs.

This worked for me and addonpeds (with additional peds) worked but I noticed that some of the DLC cars went missing from Menyoo and even went missing from my garages (I had spawned some and parked it) reverting the changes to the dlclist file would make it so that addonpeds only works with the default 2 included (it breaks after I add a certain amount of peds).
I know that this fixes my issue but it introduces that missing dlc cars issue that I talked about. am I editing the xml file wrong?
You edited it correctly as there are no crashes. I did too. Every slash was changed. I guess the reason for the crash is cuz addonpeds conflicted with the new DLC? I wish there was a way to make it work harmoniously with addonpeds though.

I managed to make the DLC cars that were missing appear again just by changing back the backslashes, just went to the wiki and checked which cars I was missing and changed the path to the dlc one by one, idk why it works but for now It’ll do.

@@barricadedpurifier Sorry for the late reply, what I did was look at my Menyoo Car spawner, check for any missing cars (I used the wiki as reference), If I found that I was missing some DLC cars, I go check which DLC that belongs to and then edit the xml file and change the backslash to slash for that DLC.

it is not working for me bro, suggest something i tried everything and all files are properly, if i run in less cars it runs, but i have 60 files and cars in dlcpack it crashes always.
