First Monday of every month, our church has a free dinner for our community. Tonight, we had turkey casserole, gravy, corn,green beans, rolls and homemade desserts and drinks. We have a speaker also. Our church stated doing this over a year ago. Since then, 10 other churches do the same on other nights. Tonight another church came to find out how we do the dinners because they also want to start doing the free dinners for our community..

Later I saw on the news some horrific pictures My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected, and glad you are all safe . Ranger and Ransom definitely enjoy the BMX and get better every time we see them . Take care and stay safe 👍
Our little town has been hit twice. 1991 and 1996. In 1991 my parents whole neighborhood was hit. Stuff piled as high as telephone pole height. My dad usually never left his recliner, but my sister pestered him and mom enough to come to their home. There was a big triangle of picture window glass through the middle of his recliner. They had to get a horse out of a tree with a crane. My second child was only 5 months old. We brought our motor home over to have a place to rest, eat and bathroom. The National Guard had to give us permission to enter their neighborhood. My husband saw a tree down and right in the middle was a spoon 🥄 all in shape, couldn’t see a hole for where it entered . My husband and Brother in law took pipe wrenches down to the mobile home park down the road to shut gas lines off. They found a poor man that had a two x four through him. The man said he was glad he had drank that 6 pack of beer after work, before it hit . They called an ambulance for him, dug him out carefully. Paramedics, fire men had to cut the board short so they could get him in the ambulance. He made it, thanks to God. Tornadoes scare me, we take them seriously, especially since we actually been in two. Stay safe, God Bless ✝️

I was actually reading up a little on BMX just out of curiosity. It was talkung about ways to optimize the bikes to make them go faster. Like the bike chain and some other stuff. My brothers used to use graphite on their chains, they said it made them faster but who knows. I know it helped my nephews boy scout derby race cars, the little wood ones they got to build with their dads. They put it on the axels. It's really nice that they're enjoying themselves.
Haven't been on a bike in years. In my teens our youth group used to have "Bike-a-thon's" to raise money for missions at church. People pledged a certain amount per mile. We usually did 25-30 mile rides. Lots of fun!

I am 72 and want to bike but had 4 broken ankles over 20 years. My right ankle is very weak. I can’t afford an electric bike . We live in Northern Minnesota. Near a method to get to my lake and bike trail. Any suggestions on limited budget.
