I amazed at how many tricks I never thought of and I usually get a lots of comments on how much I know and the quality of my work being superior to others. After watching your videos I feel I have so much to learn. That's exactly what I look for in youtube videos. Thank you so much for sharing your craft! Love to learn from others. Hope your channel takes off. It should. Your content is unique.

As a fine Carpentry lover I always want to go to Carpentry school to see what else i can learn but men thank you for your knowledge I swear the more I watch the more it all makes sense

Just goes to show that you should always be open to learning. There were at least 3 things that you showed to which my reaction was “why didn’t I think of that?” Just one tip for you if I may. The peak of the cap goes over the eyes.
Great to hear! I appreciate that feedback. And my lovely lady says “I love when you wear your cap backwards”. I ride a motorcycle a lot so it inevitably stays that way. Besides…I don’t tell you how to dress! 😆
Thanks a ton! Good eye! The new version of The 90° Deck does have alignment points, a window in the center, black anodizing and my logo. It’s the same size and thickness …but yes, much prettier 😬 I’ve put a ton of time and effort into that. I had some awesome help from a guy named Josh. He’s a wizard engineer with a CNC. So they’re always accurate! Thanks
Another excellent video Ramon. I'm intrigued by your router station dust collection system. Is having the port on top of the table more effective than from below? I'm hoping to make a table for my router and need to decide what I'm going to do for dust collection. Looking forward to hearing your recommendations here or in a future video. :)
That’s a great question and something that I should have addressed since it isn’t obvious. I have vacuum in the Woodpecker fence…or if I’m routing something without the fence, I have the vacuum “horseshoe”. I also have a port underneath that is part of my main dust collection system. So, one or the other captures the dust…moderately well. Thanks a ton for watching
Thanks! It’s an old Grizzly 1023ZX. It’s about 24 years old…I’ve replaced bearings and replaced the 5HP motor with a Baldor. Still a really good saw. Cheers

Ramon do you ever see yourself swapping to metric for all operations? You seem to have a good grasp of both. What would it take for you to make the full switch to metric?
Hmm…that’s interesting. I’m not sure. I actually like and appreciate both. I’m constantly working with tiny measurements…within .001” Which means, I’d still have to have a decimal in Metric for something that small. For bigger stuff, Metric makes more sense. As I say that, I also think…I’ve been using imperial all of my life and have memorized imperial decimal equivalents down to 1/32” and many down to 1/64”. Most of my tools, machines and measuring equipment is imperial. But I do find myself using both for some reason. I think maybe I like becoming familiar with the relationship or conversion. 🤷🏼♂️😬

Why not add a couple of more magnets to that vacuum jig and you can use it on your drill press as well
