The Parliament is not supreme. They make laws for the benefit of the people. It is the Supreme Court that ensures the the any law formulated by the Parliament does not impede the rights of individuals and the people and the correct interpretation of the Constitution is enforced or the Supreme Court can strike down laws which do not give the correct rights to the people and give a disadvantage or are unfair.the rights of people.
