The running community can be so guilty of only sharing the good runs and it can seem like no one goes through rough seasons in their training. I'm personally going through a challenging point in my training as well, so seeing a post like this helps me feel less alone!
I am right there with you! It's been a struggle recently. I've been able to string together a few successful weeks at a time during training blocks, but my consistency has been a real challenge. Really trying to maintain a substantial base this year! We got this!
The time off did the trick. I had VERY minor sensitivity the first few runs back, but it continued to fade and I haven't had any issues since 👍 Hope you have similar luck!
