I'm from Texas, Just 4 weeks ago this morning I lost my mother. I must say you and your channel bring so much joy and hope for the future. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for continuing to be a beacon of light during this otherwise dark time.
@@LittlePoet aw Susan. I know it has to be hard not getting to spend time with grandchildren. Lets all do something kind this week. Write a note to a friend or a nurse or doctor or a teacher. Order food for a single parent. Make mask for your hospital. If you are able, offer to go shopping for someone that can't. Even eggs, bread, butter, and milk is a blessing. Or peanut butter, jelly and bananas can make a difference. Make notes for your neighbors. Go tape them on doors. Put teddy bears in your window so the neighbors can go on bear hunts. Love and gratitude to you Susan from Ontario Canada. Lots of long solitary walks, fitness workouts in my basement and powering through my to do list. Positive thoughts for everyone to stay healthy and safe.
Hi Susan. I love your song. I'm in Anchorage, Alaska and I'm hanging in there like many, getting things done around my home, checking out TH-cam and Fb on a daily basis, and staying positive. Thank you for sharing your life with us - God bless you and sweet Desi.
Hello Miss Susan, let me tell you how I am getting through in Wisconsin. You mentioned social media and being thankful in a beautiful way for us all to stay connected. Thank you to YOU, and so many others in the world of TH-cam and other venues who inspire and comfort who take all of ones self to show each person like we are your only audience and make us smile, assure that we are in this together and that we all feel what everyone else is feeling. I know Friday’s just would not be the same if you were not there to have a cup of coffee with, thank you and congratulations! On your wonderful letter you received way from Italy, I can only imagine how you must feel. Well honey and that is the same feeling you give me every Friday night ❤️
Hello from Ontario California. My husband and I are doing well. Right before this started my husband was in the hospital with pneumonia thank God he recovered and is doing well. We were high school sweethearts and have been married 49 years. I look forward to each and every one of your videos. As tiny Tim said God bless us each and everyone.
Hello Susan from Fresno, California. Today a friend and I met in the parking lot of one of the many closed restaurants here in town. We sat in our cars, 6 feet apart, and talked and laughed and cried. She from the passenger seat of her car and me from the driver's seat of mine. We had some good face time. It felt so good. I’m in St. Louis, MO . I am spending my time sewing masks for NICU nurses and for family & friends. Thank you for always sharing your life with us each week, I look forward to it every Friday. Stay healthy & safe.
United Kingdom..... I have stopped watching the TV. I have no tears left to shed. My heart feels so heavy. Sending love and light every night to envelop our world. Stay safe and thank you for the videos xxx
So lovely to start my Saturday from the UK with you, Susan. You Tube has been a good distraction while stuck indoors. Plus my 4 kitties who are so sweet and loving. Hugs to you and Desi.
Virginia. Doing very well and staying uplifted :) Dressing and putting on lipstick every day, cleaning out closets, donating to food banks and the SPCA. Keeping in voice touch with my family and friends and cooking dinner every night for my "work from home" husband and myself. Playing with two rescue kitties and REFUSING to be pulled into the pit of worry and depression. In the end, the absolute best gift you can give anyone is threefold- stay happy, stay healthy and STAY HOME :) :) :) God bless you ALL :) :)
Southern California, here. We're healthy & keeping our spirits up. The beach near our home is completely free of humans & for the first time in my life I saw little bunnies running & playing in the sand! It was amazing to watch. Sending love & peaceful thoughts your way, Susan & Desi.
New York City, in the belly of the beast. Very stressed! But yesterday my hubs saw a how-to online: how to make a mask/head covering by using men's long boxer briefs. So we've been wearing underpants on our heads!
I have to find that video.😁 My daughter left NYC just before it got really bad, and is staying in a cabin in the Catskills. She is working remotely. Already, two of her clients have been lost to the virus. Stay safe. New Yorkers are resilient.
Once again you leave me speechless.. you take my breath away with your kindness. You give me hope in an uncertain time. Thank you Susan for everything you give to me and so many. God bless you and stay safe and healthy ❤️🙏
Hi Precious Susan...lovely to watch & sit with You & Desi....our lives are but a whisper But as i allow that whisper to gently touch even 1 other life & bring, love & joy to them... then I have accomplished my call......so let me encourage You Dear Susan the Whisper of Your Life has touched & Encouraged MANY LIVES!! Snails having cocktails, I just got soo tickled, how it came just off the cuff. your wit is soo refreshing, even more so, your grace and empathy, to give us permission to grieve and process. You are a woman of wisdom, I think that's why we love coming to visit your site. We all need insight and some refreshing, in this negative upside down mojo right now. You are a gift to us all. Thank you Blessings Sweet Friend
Susan: This video made me feel so much better in many ways. Thank you. Your music is wonderful...can't imagine why you are not better known! I am from Wisconsin. Life hasn't changed much because I am the sole care giver for my bed bound husband, so I don't go out much anyway. But, people are so good to me...calling and checking on us, running errands for me, and so on! I will, however, be grateful when the sun shines continuously. See you next week.
Susan I am crying as I write this because watching your videos bring me such peace and comfort in these troubled times. I love ❤️ you and Desi so much.. See you on Facebook sweet friend!
Hi Susan, as you know I’m in Florida, I believe I told you I lost my love just 2 months ago, and now this Covid 19. I was very ill for several weeks, so I stayed in most of the time, now I am well and still inside. I am on day 31, but oddly enough, this home for me right now is my solace, my safe place, where I can take my time to heal from my greatest loss. So I believe I am doing pretty good and looking forward to life again when this horrible virus is gone. On the lighter side, I need my hair colored, I need my nails done, but who cares, I’m alive🌈 You look well and beautiful as usual, stay safe my friend🦋🦋💕
Sorry for your loss. I lost my husband to cancer when I was 32 so am now 60. I remember taking time to do the healing, to let it out and it gets better. God Bless you.
Thanks lovely Susan! Was wonderful to find you here today. You did a great job with the knife, your hair color is beautiful! Cindy from Canada here... taking it day by day, my cell died on me yesterday and I am still trying to sort out another one long story, but adds another dimension to being isolated and being alone. I am focusing each day on my blessings and I count you as one of them. You and Desi stay well!
Indiana: I am viewing this video in late August & we are of course still deep inside the Covid Cavern. My 38 year old daughter gave birth to her first (MIRACLE!) baby last week. I was not allowed to be with her during a long, grueling labor and first "met" my grandson standing literally outside, looking through her window while talking to her via cellphones. I am so grateful for those who were with her and cared for her and my grandson. I am so full of gratitude for so much, and so many people at this point that I am filled with joy. There have been days when I have felt miserable, and by allowing those feelings in as well, I think I am able to process them and move on. You have so much wisdom to offer and I thank you for sharing it along with your heart through your videos. And btw your hair looks beautiful!!! Great "knife job"👍🔪😍
I live in NYC, my husband and I are so glad we have each other especially knowing there are so many people alone during this crazy time. I'm 71 y.o. and am asthmatic but keeping safe at home. I have many crafty hobbies so I don't get bored. I keep busy reading, playing scrabble, watching Netflix and cooking nice home cooked meals for us. Thanks for your comforting videos and all that you do. I love your beautiful song "Storm" Susan, you're an amazingly talented woman!
You are so kind Josephine and I like how you are staying safe....I see new York on TV and it is looks so empty.....but empty is saving lives....someday, we will be through this....Stay safe...we love you, Susan & Desi
Thank you for allowing people to feel their feelings and not be shamed and told how they should stop whining and be grateful for all they have. I can be very grateful and still be worried or stressed at times. My whole life people have told me how to feel rather than ask me how I feel and allowing me to own my feelings. Even when my mom would ask and I would try and tell her how I felt she would call me a liar over and over and then explain how I “really” felt. In a time of stress like we are all going through don’t make it worse on others with criticism or Pollyanna exhortations.
Lovely video Susan.Music has no barriers and has limitless reach. I was sad to hear of Bill Withers passing today. I remember walking to Woolco when I was 7th grade to buy the 45 of lean on me. My sister works at Butterworth and it is getting very intense. They are preparing. I wore a mask when I walked Sassy tonight. I love JB Zoo. My girlfriend's mom has volunteered there for over 50 years. If it does not open it will be the first year she has missed. It is a scary time but know that your words in your videos and your music comfort all of us. For that I am so grateful that you share your gifts with all of us. Stay safe and healthy. I am here in GR if you need anything and I truly mean it. Hugs, Sue in GR MI
Susan your hair looks amazing! Your videos lift my spirits so much. You make my Fridays so much better. In fact, my Fridays now are making my whole week brighter and for that I am grateful. I love your positive attitude about life! Remember you and Desi are never alone, we are always with you both.
Thank you Susan and Desi, you make me laugh and you make me cry...perfect . I live you song and when you speak to the ducks! And I'm wondering, how is your grumpy neighbour. Be well. Lots of love and keep well
You have the videos with the best editing and great content. Your choice of music is phenomenal always. You come across as a smart, talented and kind person with a subtle and great sense of humor. I love when you talk to the ducks 👏🏼 God bless you and little Desi. 🌻 💖👍🏽 love the song STORM. I live in northern NJ, Hudson county, we are hit hard. I live in a low income housing development (hud) last week we lost 2 of our 4 maintenance men to the virus. So sad for them and their families. I live alone and since my son passed on I have just a friend or 2, so I check you tube a lot. I started reading at the pandemic ---murder, suspense, mystery books. I was always a avid reader but during this time I needed a book with a POW!!! Just to forget what's going on. About 2 month ago I picked up a paperback and I loved it and before the virus hit I went to BArnes and Noble and bought 6 of these paperbacks by the author and I am devouring them. I usually read fiction that have good character development. This author is very graphic in describing the murders, but also offer a soft side to getting to know the good and bad characters. During this sad time and actually my whole life, I am always with my heart on God. 💕
Hi Susan, Susan here from Quebec, Canada. Love your channel, your voice, beautiful words and positive outlook. Many thanks to you and Desi for brightening our days in these times. Stay well.
Leeds Yorkshire UK I am in lockdown taking great delight in your videos. You produce the most lovely video's which bring such comfort at any time; particularly at such a time as this. Thank you Susan and Desi. God bless you. Jill xxxxxxxxxxx
Beautiful words to your song, Susan! I'm in California 'sheltered in place' like so many others across the USA and the world. Praying, praying and praying some more. God bless the first responders... from the doctors to the nurses to the police to the grocery store employees. I'm praying, praying and praying some more!
Florida... I was so enjoy watching you and Desi. I always look so forward to Friday night. What a beautiful letter you received the gift that will keep giving to the heart I'm here alone with my kitty Louie in my mom and dad's home. They both passed away in 2019 as you know. In a few months I will be looking for an apartment and be open to wonderful new experiences. Like you said I just know we will learn from this and all will be okay. This too shall pass. 💞
Hi Beautiful Susan and Desi with his gorgeous eyes. Love you both. That was so lovely for you to get that letter also for sharing with us. That song has great lyrics. Very sad all over the world, this virus has caused so many deaths. I try and keep busy doing crafts, gardening and giving my dogs extra attention, they are loving that. We are all in this together so sending love to everyone Stay safe. Thank you Susan love your video Stay safe love to both of you 💟💙
TFS this Lovely Video !! We Luv and Appreciate You and Lil' Dez, putting JOY into our Live's, every week. Having FAITH, and Knowing, that GOD, Our President, and Many Other's, Have Our Back. Hampshire in the UK. So enjoyed yet another wonderful video. I am in awe of you wonderful presenters who continue to provide such amazing antidotes to all the chaos. It is such a great distraction. Thank you, thank you. Hx
I think that there can't be a better feeling than having something that you've created move and comfort others--especially at this juncture of our history. I'm a nurse in Indiana. I received my deployment assignment last week. We expect our apex in the next week and a half. I'm waiting for my call to be activated. This is my storm.
Hey Susan love your channel Im from Australia with my little dog in my lap and trusting in God for the safety and protection of myself and loved ones and you included!
Hi Susan, How wonderful to receive that letter and what’s even more wonderful is the impact that you have had on so many people. God’s gift to you was your beautiful voice and your gift to everyone is how you have used it to soothe and inspire. I am so happy that he has honored you by spending all that effort to find you. As for me, I am from western Pennsylvania. We are on quarantine in our state. I haven’t left my home since attending mass on the 15th of March. I am teaching online - my 90 plus students - and I miss them. It’s very stressful trying to appear normal when we have Zoom classes. They’re confused and scared. So am I. Blessings to you and Desi. Stay safe.
my arms reach out to hug you tight , artist to artist , i feel you and hear you , the pure golden heart the true emotions and depth that never ends ...you are a true earth angel , love you and congrats your talent has lifted others much high ......love always from Kat in Australia xxxxoooo
Helotes, Texas Scared. Trying to keep the Faith Praying for protection for myself and my family and everyone who is suffering from this horrific and cruel virus🙏🏼🙏🏼 God protect you and help you stay well Susan, we love you❤️❤️
First of all your hair looks beautiful nice job!! And your song Storm brought tears to my eyes.......beautiful. And I really need to give Dezi kisses....he's just too cute and those eyes follow your everywhere! Yes, I'm in Michigan at the center bottom of the state....Hillsdale county....and today I planted 3 new plants that I ordered. Hubby and I had a bonfire......just nice to sit outside and enjoy the birdsong and listen to the fire. Hope you are well.....stay safe!!
North Carolina. Woke up a little blue this Saturday morning. Drank my coffee while watching you and Desi and feel better now. I miss my 5 grandchildren who only live a mile away, but we have been self isolating for 3 weeks. I look forward to our reunion when I can hold them again. Working from home in my sunroom. So grateful for my beautiful yard that is bursting with new spring life.
Hi Susan. Such a beautiful song. I'm in the UK spending my time doing jobs in the house that I normally don't have time to do due to working full time. I'm also doing lots of skin care and my skin is loving it!. Love to you and Desi xx
In the Arizona Mountains taking deep breathes of gratitude and feeling thankful that I made a huge decision to move here. I get to see my grand daughter and great grandsons pretty often. A few weeks ago the boys found a little stray kitten and asked me if I would like the kitty after seeing if it was any of the neighbor and it wasn't. So we named the kitty Willow and all she wants is love. Love to all. SHerill
Very poignant❣️I love John Ball Zoo, I take my grandchildren often. Skip2mylou... one of my favorites; love her sense of humor. Take care & stay healthy.💛
Love from Overland Park, KS. I rising early to pray, ENJOY-CE my coffee, shower, dress and makeup and ready to face the day. I practice faith over fear and since my RA and Addison’s are treated with infusions and meds, I am considered high risk plus I’m nearing 73. Yes, dressing like going out for the evening but staying home and being thankful for so many healthcare providers... 🙏🏼❤️👏🙋🏼♀️😁
From the Midwest of our great USA: KANSAS. I am living a life of gratitude even though I struggle with concern for my daughter who is a surgical nurse in a hospital in Arizona. She is so intelligent & compassionate. I am so proud of her & her many accomplishments. She is a big part of why I can remain grateful during these troubled days.
I'm in Virginia, USA. I'm redecorating my bedroom and decluttering but I'm having difficulty staying calm. The pace is slow and I miss my family more than I can say. I am retired so am fortunate to not have to go out and really appreciate all those who are fighting this illness on the front lines and those helping keep as much normalcy in our lives as possible. Thank you so much for all you do to enrich our lives, Susan. I always get so much from your videos.
Well, things are pretty bad here in NYC and everyday I hope that we have crested the hill and we're on the way down on this horrible ride. I worry for my former coworkers in the ICU and throughout our healthcare systems, and mourn the loss of those who died. Personally my husband and I have friends who have the virus, one recovering at home and one on a ventilator for almost 2 weeks. We have been self isolating for 3 weeks, and I am the designated person to go out only for things vital that we need and cannot get delivered online due to lack of stock or delivery slots that are hard to get. Personally, I watch people like you Susan who touch our hearts and lift our spirits. I find things to do and books to read, etc.... Thank you to everyone who has taken the need for social distancing and isolating seriously and maybe together we can get through this with less loss of life. Be safe Susan and Desi!
Dear Susan, what I love most about your channel has always been your emotional honesty. Emotional intelligence, which you have in spades, is the greatest quality that human beings can possess as it brings about grace and compassion. As for me, I'm a teacher living in BC, Canada, trying at the moment to devise and deliver meaningful lessons to Grade 3s, some of whom are literally crying at the thought that their parents might die when they leave for work in the hospitals. Aside from that, I'm a singer, too, although mostly of the classical persuasion. I loved your song and your voice is beautiful. Your hair's not bad, either 😉. Take care, stay safe and lots of love to you and Desi xoxox
Thank you Susan, I am in UK and watch your videos every Saturday! You are so artistic in the way you present on TH-cam, and Desi is adorable! May God be with you xx
Texas, So glad we've finally, rightfully joined the lock down. Oh, your song Storm is hauntingly beautiful, Susan. It should be on the radio at this time :-)
Everyday, nurses and doctors are going out and fighting this healing war, losing their lives on the front line, holding peoples hands in their last moments. They are true hero’s, I am so grateful we have a national health service it’s creaking at the seams, but for people not to worry about paying a bill when they get sick is such a privilege and one I don’t mind paying for out of my income each month. Your storm resonates at this time, but I see a nurses glove in the road,. A young boy of 13 passed away here this week, his parents couldn’t hold his hands and his mother could not go to his funeral because her two other sons had signs of the virus. It’s just so cruel this thing; and each day those brave medical people face this everyday. We will measure ourselves in how we pull together, support each other to work through this. Have a safe week Susan. By the way the lovely Kathryn Jenkins a most beautiful welsh classical singer is doing a concert on Facebook tonight at 1pm your time I think, she is such a wonderful performer...
Northwest Arkansas-Fayetteville. Trying to thrive and encourage others. I saw this quote today, and feel it is so encouraging for the uncertainty the whole world is living with right now. "Also highly contagious is - Kindness, Patience, Love, Enthusiasm, and a Positive Attitude. Don't wait to catch it from others. Be the carrier." ❤
Thank you for keeping up the content. I tend to binge watch all the news and then get depressed so it's good to balance out all the doom and gloom. BTW your hair looks great😊

HI Susan and Desi, I am in Southern California, we are doing the social distancing and according to the news today it seems to be working , staying in and going out for food, doing gardening here and exercises on facebook. Central valley California. Just hosed off my backyard patio furniture and washed my outdoor curtains in preparation for spring, since the days have been warm lately. That's where I find my solace and inspiration when I spend time outside in my backyard. I have recently separated after 32 years of marriage. But, my faith is strong and so am I. Virtual hugs to you and Desi.🤗🤗

Your hair looks great as usual, you did a good job! I'm in SoCal, I went out for groceries today for the 1st time in about 3 weeks, it felt so good to be out of the house, I didn't want to go back home. I've been busy all day and I'm feeling pretty good! Surprise surprise being productive makes me feel good, who would have known? I hear you Susan, and I'm looking forward to seeing you and Desi next week. Please share more of your music with us. I love you and your pup! .

Snails having cocktails, I just got soo tickled, how it came just off the cuff.
your wit is soo refreshing, even more so, your grace and empathy, to give
us permission to grieve and process. You are a woman of wisdom, I think
that's why we love coming to visit your site. We all need insight and some
refreshing, in this negative upside down mojo right now. You are a gift to
us all.
Tucson, Arizona. Happy to have sunshine and beautiful weather to enjoy each day
Hi Susan, as you know I’m in Florida, I believe I told you I lost my love just 2 months ago, and now this Covid 19.
Hugs.
Sorry for your loss. I lost my husband to cancer when I was 32 so am now 60. I remember taking time to do the healing, to let it out and it gets better. God Bless you.
Lou Ann Buschlen Thank you, so very much💕
I'm sorry for your loss, Vanessa.
So sorry for your loss, bless you.🙏🏻❤️
Thanks lovely Susan!
I just love Daisy too he such a sweet little dog our pets can be very good company for us
Lovely video Susan.Music has no barriers and has limitless reach.

OMG Susan! That letter was so powerfully written about your song! This guy has extreme passion tenacity and is just so sweet. Is he single? Lol!

Beautiful words to your song, Susan! I'm in California 'sheltered in place' like so many others across the USA and the world. Praying, praying and praying some more. I'm here alone with my kitty Louie in my mom and dad's home. They both passed away in 2019 as you know. In a few months I will be looking for an apartment and be open to wonderful new experiences. Like you said I just know we will learn from this and all will be okay. This too shall pass. 💞

Hunkered down in Louisiana. [[[Susan]]], that song is everything .💖💕 Love you, mean it, Paula
California - keeping others safe and healthy. Tears rolling down my face with such a beautiful video. 💜u
SHerill
Ohio...working in Maternity dept..watching beautiful babies...come into the world....

I’m from Maryland. Our governor asks us this Sunday, at noon, to pray and reflect for our state and country. 🙏❤️
Glad to see you are AOK. In fact you're looking great. If that snail stuff works I need to take a bath in it! Holding my own in St Louis. 🙋
Thank you and Desi for our beautiful time together.
Seattle💖 Enjoyed your beautiful song💕
You a Desi are precious!
Staying with my three dogs and being tolerant!😊
Stay safe! ❤️
Congratulations on your song! That’s a great accomplishment! I wish I could hear the whole song.

I'm glad I got to hear some of your song. It's really beautiful; would love to hear it all.
