While Rush takes SoCal friends Brandon and Eric Nelson fishing in Key West for Permit fishing, Ali rounds up a familiar Florida Everglades native Jimmy Wheeler for some San Diego Bluefin Tuna fishing.

I just moved to SD from LI NY, home to amazing Striper fishing. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get on some comparable game fish in SD. Thank goodness I found this channel.
I now have to learn the waters and get on some action.
Get out there! The party boats are a great place to learn and start!

I run out of Anna Maria island Florida and I find my Permit on wrecks in 40’~ 70’ in April thru October. I grew up commercial fishing for AP Bell and they had several shrimp boats. I also traded Budweiser for shrimp.
Bonita were my first game fish when I was just beginning to fish offshore.
