Hey, can i ask something out of topic. How do you play as a support properly? I never play as a support because i don't trust my random team in match. But, i'm quite interested to try playing as a support.
@@blueorca1244 hi! I'm a support main in both HOK and MLBB, so maybe I can help, since support is super fun to play! For HOK specifically, I feel like most supports have one thing they specialize in. Dolia has ult to reset CD, yaria has shielding, Dyadia has great CC, Cai Yan has healing. To decide which one to play, look at your team comp and see which would be most helpful to that team. At the beginning of the game, I personally like following the mm, since I can try to help them win against their opponent and hopefully slow down the enemy mm farming. I especially recommend doing this with Dyadia, since she does good dmg early game and can steal gold from enemies! However, dont stay with the mm if they are clearly clueless. If you notice they have bad positioning, they dont engage with you when you have the advantage, or if they die for kills too much, leave them and look at who is doing the most for the team. Is the jungler or mage constantly ganking? Go help them and rotate together. You can look at kda for this, or look how they play on the map. There are some instances where you want to go with the mage at the start of the game though. Particularly if you and your mm have no synergy. Ex. If your mm is Shou Yi and you are Yaria. He doesn't need your shield since he can stay back and shoot. You can also go with your mage first if they are aggressive early game heroes, like Mai shiranui, or if you synergize well with them or the jungler. Ex. If you are dolia and your mage is princess frost, xiao qiao, etc. Who rely heavily on their ult to do dmg. If you do this, follow your mage wherever they rotate, and see if you can help your other lanes. Make sure you try to skill check bushes for ambushes if your skills allow you to. If you plan to stay in one lane, check the map every 2 seconds to see if enemies are coming to you, and hide in bushes that give crucial vision to your lane partner while they're pushing/clearing/farming. As a support, remember that you are not meant to tank or frontline, stay in the back in big teamfights and do what you can. You can try to soak up some dmg for your team (blocking skills for ex.), but make sure you dont die from it. If the situation is obviously going to end badly, dont try to save people who are clearly dead and just retreat. This isnt to say you should be afraid to die for your team. It's perfectly okay to sacrifice yourself if you need to, but make sure the trade off is worth it. For ex. If you die but you save your jungler, mage, or mm who are doing well, then it was a good trade. If you die to set up kills on enemies of higher importance, then it's a good trade. But if you die trying to save a feeding teammate, then that was a bad trade. One big rule of playing a support: DO NOT ENGAGE ALONE. Make sure your team or laning partner is there to back you up, even if the situation is tempting. That's how you as a support start feeding. Hopefully this can help you! If you want to discuss anything with me, feel free to ping me :) and good luck!
With her Passive, She Kicks Barefoot 😮
She's now part of the Feetish Group along with Dolia.
