The Mystery Dungeon music in the starting town is probable the best choice anyone has ever made.
just a little suggestion... there's vanilla minecraft adventure map called 'Pokemon Cobalt & Amethyst' with a whole custom story line and Fakemon!! I think you should check it out and may be do a playthrough of the map!!

Oh yeah Orange, this game is also called "Pokemon Spectrum" because it also has a very high shiny rate of about 0.8% chance to encounter one. I even found a shiny Kangy (Kangaskhan's Pre-evo in this game) when I was playing.

I don't see why there isn't one already. Many animals/creatures here can become animals. Though, there'll probably be a remake of Sinnoh in the next game before a new generation would be considered.

That Pokepark 2 ost as part of Spectrums opening was brought back some memories

my mistake, there is only a Dragon Eeveelution added, but a new kind of Eeveelution kind of thing, a camelean that can evolve into the other type, so a new Eevee like pokemon, kind of like Baawool from Solar Light and Lunar Dark
That ending with the pokemart, whatever that pokemon was pretty cool looking.

It's very impressive that all the Pokemon are animated. The new ones, specifically. Elite Battle System forces you to make sprite sheets if you want to animate them, so it's very impressive.

I think "Spectrum" may be a reference to the dreamtime story about the "Rainbow Serpent" which is an Australian aboriginal story about a serpent that created colours in the world

You need to download an emulator, (in this case, a DS emulator), and go to a website that give rom hacks without viruses like loveroms.com and enter the name of the game you want to play. Then after you downloaded the game, go back to the emulator to play it.

Let's Plays, PKMN Theories, and More I tried it and all that came up were scams saying warning virus detected.
The starters are a koala, kangaroo and platypus. Other Australian animals that could be used are kookaburras, crocodiles, red back spiders, some other spiders, some snakes and some other animals. But still it's nice to see Australia getting notices though.
Also Munch, it does get pretty cold in Australia.

TheLiza10 If you play Pokemon, then you have a 3DS. But I have a limited edition Legend of Zelda (gold with the Triforce symbol) 3DS XL. Also have: Pokemon HeartGold, Pokemon Black 2, Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and Pokemon Moon. Non Pokemon related games are: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Street Fighter 4, Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, Luigi's Mansion, New Super Mario Bros. (both), and Super Mario 3D Land.

Some of these Pokemon in this game are either identical or exactly what I made up for a fakemon game I wanted to make during my high school years. However Pansurge was actually called Panplug, but hey I'm glad someone else had made it since I wasn't going to make it anyway, because I was and still am lazy! One time I made an Australia Fakemon Pokedex. And the starters were a grass koala, fire kangaroo, and water platypus.

When I'm was younger, I LITERARY made and drew a full 173 fekemon pokedex, and my starters were a water duck, fire rabbit, and grass koala... Boy, I wish that was able to make ROM hacks, especially before this came out..
Pokemon Sage has only ONE gym. It is such a beautiful and well done fakemon game, just wish they would release the next demo. Coming up to 2 years since the last one.

The Australian game would be called Pokemon Nova, and the Netherlands one would be called Pokemon Pokemon Cosmos.

spectrum is the visible amount of colors in the world whereas kroma is actually spelt chromatic which means related to color as they all have a different wavelength and refractive index.
I honestly think that the gen 8 region will be based off of Australia. This is a theory that I've had for a fair few years now. I think there are just too many unique animals here to pass up creating a region based off Australia
I can do the Perry the Platypus "rrrrrrr" noise about 25% of the time when I try. Also, I'm not really sure which starter I like the most. I mean, I think a kangaroo Pokemon aside from Kangaskhan sounds neat, so if I were to play this game I guess I'd choose that.

Australians don't have Opossums. They have the more friendly variation called Possums. We have them across the ditch in New Zealand too. Though it is quite an interesting name choice for the fakemon, as it does look more like an opossum feature-wise

Well considering most plural forms of words ending with "us" become"i" (Octopus to octopi, fungus to fungi and cactus to cacti) it would be safe to assume that the plural for "platypus" is "platypi"
