yes, unfortunately not all cities are clean and not all areas are clean but i can say with confidence that since i have arrived in china, over time most places have been more and more clean, the biggest improvement is by far in the air quality, it was no secret that Chinese air quality was not good but now the air quality in most major Chinese cities is actually pretty good.
