I see why Ryan moody goes so hard. My first Madden game in a while was Madden 24 and i love football so I automatically got Madden 25 but after having it for a week I want a refund. I'm not picky and I'm pretty low maintenance and will even let stuff slide but certain stuff makes me wonder what is EA doing? What's the programming like, and where is the quality team. The biggest problem I have with Madden is it actually looking like football and etc but I've come to grips that that part of the game won't be perfect so I've moved on from that and just focused on the stuff that I like about the game. The biggest reason I decided to get Madden 25 was the new plays, I figured that I could make a custom playbook and go crazy in H2H. Literally didn't find out they took that away until after I purchased the game. As I'm creating a playbook I notice that the formations are not in order like years past, there's spelling errors like "Chrager Cross" instead of Chargers Cross. Then I noticed that even though I added a certain formation to my playbook it disappeared in practice and in game, I went back to create a playbook to see if I actually added it and I did. Deleted it and added the plays from that formation again and it's still not there. Now off of that, I've always liked superstar mode so I went to that. Kudos to them for actually making what you do in combine actually reflect in your attributes! Since new plays is what sold me I'll talk about that first. After being a QB I decided to make a corner and first few games I'm picking the QB off multiple times in a game. I do think I'm good but I realize that the game is still using the same plays from last year, for the most part. "900" new plays but the computer is still using the same plays so I'm stuck playing corner against Madden 24 plays and concepts. Which explains why I'm able to cover so well. There's a few people complaining that there's no voices in the cutscenes but I don't really care about that but as I'm sitting in my chair I get interviewed by this woman in practice multiple different times and realize she wears the same thing each time. Then one time I get interviewed at practice and notice that my new lions uniforms are nonexistent in practice. That's right, the uniform my created player is wearing is from last year. What makes me even cite this is that I don't think there were any practice cutscenes last year that showed you in your uniform so for them to have the wrong uniform on in Madden 25 says that the attention to detail is horrible. Also, I like new uniforms and one game I decided to make the lions wear their new away uniforms but with their new silver pants and the cut scene after you play an away game has you coming into the locker room with the default away uniforms on anyway. Another thing I noticed is playing as a QB in superstar with your custom playbook is doing no huddle sucks. I'm in shotgun majority of my plays and when I do no huddle the next play automatically lines me up under center, it will have my receivers and tight ends all over instead of having me in the same formation and I now have watched a lot of time go off of the clock now after I select a play(in the same formation as the previous play) I have to watch them line up correctly which takes more time. I never understood why they made the no huddle non-existent but I got over it because it was workable but now its not. I'll never understand how do you turn the no huddle into this. Running the no huddle with a minute and 30 seconds left and I'm in shotgun and the whole offense lines up incorrectly under center and the play sheet is in shotgun. All of this stuff makes me think the developers at EA are nerds that don't watch football. Not only is Madden getting the big stuff wrong it's getting the little stuff wrong too. Am I the only one having these problems?
