The Sound of Music. School Play By North Sikkim Academy 2023

This musical play is based on one of the most classic movies of all time " The Sound of Music" of the late 60's.
The cast and crew of the musical performed by the Production Team of North Sikkim Academy headed by Shri N.P Kazi left no stone unturned to give our best performance and enthrall the audience of Mangan. This was a very big challenge for the students and the teachers as most of the children( actors) come from remote villages and they really had to work on their diction and accent since it was purely an European background play and the costumes were a major challenge looking at Mangan's remote location and undulating terrain. We had very limited time in hand about 45 days only to sharpen the actors acting skills, diction, background choir, props, costumes, and music. Nevertheless, we did manage it all somehow and succeeded in putting up a great show at last.
