I mean i guess that's the whole entire point,
Meteor is doing their damndest to break your spirit but if that's the case, from a gameplay perspective for god's sake just put a checkpoint before the hypnosis section, all it did was give me a hernia starting from cain and shelly again and again

you can quick save between fights with the D key, press it when there isn’t a dialogue box on screen

Devon Corp is a gauntlet? I know they lock you in but they still allow you to switch mons mid battle
