Remember Control + ] to boot into switch boot prompt mode. Step 6 Power cycle the device. Step 7b Press Ctrl-] (right square bracket) from the console port session when the device begins the Cisco NX-OS software boot sequence to enter the switch(boot)# prompt mode.
