In all fairness, never been into game music. 250% of the time it's just... "ugh" for MY TASTE, this means, it's not a set value. I have weird tastes. I only became with that in contact through you, MBR. Yours I can appreciate, it's vivid, alive, this makes it good. But other game music, after Amiga (which had a few awesome ones, I can't deny this)? Again, taste, of course. De gustibus non est disputandum....
@@ImperatorGrausam So we're aligned then, nice. Do you get where my response of game music comes from? Let's take... ummm... OH, Cyberpunk. Ever heard the music in there? That ain't Cyberpunk???? Sigue Sigue Sputnik, THAT is Cyberpunk. Literal "cyber based punk". Not that frackin shit they give you in that game? Take the TES games... that is like... I REALLY want to, but naaaah. Sad, really. It used to be good: Atari, Amiga... but those days are gone. Thankfully, we got MBR now... ;) Metal: what style? I am ranging up to the extreme BM/DM/TDM... But I can dig a LOT, from Baroque music to Metal, over a plethora of Ethnic music, even throat singing and other more obscure styles. Jazz then, or Schlagers... no thank you.
I don't think I can explain it, but this song got me through the loss of my beloved cat. The song just FEELS like a tribute. I'd blast it on repeat while running on my treadmill and it did something positive with the pain. Thank you.
so amazing!! Played The Last Ninja (all of em) so many hours in the 80's/90's good memories. And Ben's (R.I.P.) music from another world. Thanks for this.
I listen tons of genres from Mongolian throat singing passing by progressive technical death metal to pop retro and EDM... I know shit tons of bands , yet nothing sounds like master boot record he's unique at his craft , top at his game, talking about he's releases In general not only this one , master boot record is one of the highest form of art you can get these days , you have my respect , kudos to you !
MBR covers are always sick, and this one is no exception. Actually I have one suggestion that is a bit obscure, but I'd love to hear it covered in MBR style: Stage 1 from Sunsoft's NES Batman OST.
Hello old friend. When you're done in this world, I'd like to discuss some new planet designs with you. I'll see you by 2076. Try out Blue Eisenhower November. Yeah, you're "human" here, but actually, this is just another system that you and I are a part of, like you planned before being "born" There's still some stuff you need to do in this iteration.
This track has the feeling of a honorary requiem. And that's good, because Ben was a great music composer. I have 2 requests: Contra: Jungle Theme or Base 2 boss, and some of Gradius.
I was expecting another in a long line of covers of this classic, and then you had to go harder than my grandpa's arteries. Not sure if you do requests but Rob Hubbard's Nemesis the Warlock please?
"Heroes get remembered, but legends never die". This is for Ben.
I can't believe Ben's gone still. One of the best VGM composers of all time.
@@ImperatorGrausam A true legend.

@@Xogroroth666 Eh, being a fan of both metal and game music MBR is right up my alley.

I don't navigate away from the page. In fact I play it in several tabs simultaneously for surround sound effect. Then repeat.
