I use the Kindle app on my Surface Duo 2. Each screen displays one page like an open book. I thought this was a setting I set but I cannot find the setting in the app.
OK many thanks for this. I've checked my duo 2 android 12 kindle app and there's a major borders on both pages at the fold & around the margins so I guess the ROM needs an update for some apps. I would be grateful to know the GSM txt status as some are having issues? Cheers
@@ReviewsforNerds Many many thanks you're a lifesaver. I think I will go to this ROM on my duo 1 from the previous Android 14 "ASOP" Rom because it's not my primary duo 2 daily which is still on Android 12. Unfortunately I use my duo 2 for banking and phoning out so until the dev team sort this out I can't go all in, but I'm sure they'll get to the bottom of it. Due to the “ Google January Android security bulletin, for users of Android 12 through 15" advising immediate upgrade to Android 15 minimum I panicked and ordered a new fold 6 which has got a £700 reduction in the January sales in the UK at EE. With the seven years security updates now on Samsung's and seven years major Android updates it was a no-brainer especially with my due 2's Battery life being so woeful.
Thanks a lot!
You are very welcome.

That is what I thought it was on stock ROM. This ROM is based on the Pixel Fold so some of the apps do not recognize the gap.

I'll throw a SIM in at some point and let you know.
Put my Mint Mobile SIM in and I was able to receive and send messages, receive calls, but unable to call out for some reason.

Will this work for the Duo 1 ?
according to the instructions it should. Try at your own risk. I am running into SIM issues on the Duo 2
What about FydeOS on it?
Looking into it and it appears FydeOS is only for PCs and Laptops. Would be pretty neat though.
@@ReviewsforNerds There is Fydeos based Fydetab.
I want one, still.
The Duo was one of the most unique form factors and I really wish Microsoft hadn't dropped the ball on this.
i would rather use win11 not android 15
I have thought about trying that. I know I used to be able to use my work Virtual Machine via an app and it was pretty easy to use.
