Ive never seen anyone grab their own leg to keep the opponent from removing the foot in the hip. The demonstration of the leverage difference between keeping their knee pointed outwards vs letting it point upwards (allowing them to stand) was also fairly unique in terms of demos Ive seen
This was a fantastic explanation and I can’t believe I never thought of controlling my own leg with my hand so it’s hard for them to take the hook off
