This content is pretty well done to be honest, but yea half the reward is level 100 weapons for progressing. I'm going to try suggesting at least putting the ancient hero weapon crafter outside the entrance, so people can at least craft themselves a weapon before level 180.
Basically any instances are stories, and there is episode 15, 16, 17.1, and 17.2 for the main storyline our characters follow. A lot of lore kinda has to be found outside the game too (wiki pages etc). Especially from older episodes that don't exist anymore technically.
