Man not one butterfly that i saw. The 1 i saw was black and white stripes n it had a different tail thing on the interior wings. N when it opened up its wings. It look like another butterfly on it back. There r 2 different ones hear n southern California . But i think someone raises them ❤❤❤
First of all as a professional id just like to say there are a few things wrong about this small butterfly documentary.... I'm not going to name them all but firstly, there isn't one actual picture of the giant swallow tail butterfly in here period. You shown a Old world swallowtail "as one name" then you showed a Tiger swallowtail just to be clear... Also, a few of the sizes are confused by list. Good video though.
Important - in all your maximum wingspan measurements for the birdwing butterflies it should be stressed that they are measurements for the females which are almost always much larger than the males; African Giant Swallowtail is the exception with the male being much larger,
Dudo que el Papilio creaphonthes tenga esa envergadura, en ese caso quien si llega a ese tamaño sería la Papilio homerus, endémica de Jamaica, además las mariposas del género morpho también son enormes!! De ahí el resto de ornithopteras está muy bien
