    Hello doc, do you suggest any review course in particular that you are aware of from other imgs in aus. You mentioned about a course in your country, but we don't have any resources like that in our area.

    • @febsmd
      @febsmd  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. You can google AMC step 1 courses online and choose which best suites you
      1. Budget
      2. Time/mode of delivery
      :)

    Hello doc. I finished internal medicine from India... What's my pathway to settle in Australia as specialist? Please respond..

    • @febsmd
      @febsmd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi doctor thank you for your comment, I am not sure with India trained IM specialists, i guess the best way is to contact AMC to inquire which pathway would suit you best. I know some Indian doctors who were trained in the surgical and O+G who still have to redo most parts of their training here as it is not completely reciprocal to that of Australian standard. But i guess the best authority to inquire on is the Australian Medical Council who is very receptive to inquiries regarding the pathway, also it gives you a documentation of what their recommendation would be :)

    Hello po doc! Happy new year! I have a question regarding the responsibilities of the different types of registration in the hospital (limited, provisional, general)? If you would counter part them with the training here in the philippines, is it like 1st year resident, 2nd year resident, 3rd year resident etc? Thank you po doctors! God Bless.

    • @febsmd
      @febsmd  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not like that doc.
      Limited is when you only have step 1 regardless of what PGY you're in
      Provisional is when you passed step 1 + 2 but have not yet ticked off required rotations for gen reg for AHPRA
      General is when you pass both steps 1 and 2 plus core rotations.
      Ahpra has the list of rotations they would need for a general registration :)

      @@febsmd Ohh so the registrations only differ with the tests one physician passed or obtained. How about the differences in the responsibilities in the hospital, doc? Would the tasks or load of work vary per registration? Thank you po doc! 😊

    • @febsmd
      @febsmd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@pinoymdron hospital work/responsibilities would depend on the type of job you do rmo/hmo vs registrar vs fellow vs advanced trainee vs consultant. I will make a video on the hierarchy of medical training in aus soon doc :) iba iba kasi per training path kaya iniisip ko pa paano ishare
